First time we've been back since it reopen. It's been painted outside and in and looks real nice. My husband ordered the pancakes and I order an omelet made into a wrap. Well the pancakes were really good and huge. My wrap was pretty greasy and I didn't care for the taste of it, like maybe the grill needed to be cleaned. There was a steady flow of customers coming in so they must be doing something right but for me it was a miss.

First time in Lewis Cafe! I will return! I had a very tasty cheeseburger and fries. The bun had a nice grill on it as well. The fries as a side were good. I was gifted two onion rings and could have eaten a whole plate of those. Very well done. My only critique in the negative was that they were out of pickles! Our waitress Sue was a real sweetie!

The food was great. I had the country fried steak and it was cooked well and I liked the breading. When I was checking out I commented to the waitress that the meal was more affordable than most restaurants I visit, and she told me that they had recently worked out a deal that let them lower their prices mainly because many of their patrons are on a fixed income. It honestly moved me to tears of joy to hear of a business putting people over profit in the spirit of service. In...
