Delicious and such great portions. Fajita meal was the best .. had enough for another meal at home
We were on our way back home from looking at a campground and wanted to stop for lunch. We chose this spot on a whim based on star reviews. We stopped on a Saturday. The place wasn't busy and we were told we could seat ourselves. They served the chips and salsa promptly. The salsa was made with cilantro (not oregano) and had a slight heat to it. It was so good. Shortly after our waiter came and took our drink order. They didn't have the first 2 beer options my husband wanted so he opted for something else (no big deal). I ordered the mango margarita. Drinks were brought out promptly. Mine didn't taste like Mango but it was still good. Upon taking our food order my husband asked about one of the steak dishes which I think confused our waitress; he wanted a burrito. She helped us out with that and we had our food shortly after. Very prompt service. The food wasn't super hot. I got the 2 enchiladas; one beef and one cheese, the cheese was soft but not completely melting.
You can tell the food wasn't pre-made and sitting in warmer. The red sauce was slightly sweet but very good, not like everyone else's red sauce. My husband really enjoyed his steak burrito, no complaints at all. As we paid our tab the cashier struck a nice conversation with the husband. The food could have been a little hotter but tasted good. Overall the experience was nice. Quiet atmosphere and very prompt service. Would go back if in the area.
Best Mexican in Franklin county
Got the chile pablano. It was so delicious 🤤 and spicy. The prices were great!
It was very good. I got carry out
And didn't have a long wait
The food was very good as well as the service. However, there were people SHOUTING at tables because they were drinking. The waitress said that these crowds of people come every Sunday night. This totally spoiled our Mother's Day experience.
I would like to know that place.

I recommend the shredded chicken chimichanga and the shredded chicken nacho supreme. Today I ordered both of these and Not only was the service very fast for pickup roughly 10 minutes but cheap as well. Two meals plus two extra cups of queso was only $25.18. I highly recommend that you tip these people. Ordering was simple and straight to the point and the food was superb. Overall 4/5. The only issues are the distance from where I live (a negligible problem) and the size of the restaurant small so I was a little cramped. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around St Clair, Union and Washington combined. Probably the best Mexican in the metropolitan area in general.

If you love Mexican cuisine this is a MUST. A hidden gem for sure. It's always busy every time I drive past. Stopped for lunch and was super happy with everything ordered.
Was seated quickly with prompt service. Chips and salsa up first. Outstanding salsa for starters. It has a great flavor. Most are boring, definitely not here!
Lunch special #1 with chili relleno, taco and refried beans. Chili is peeled (that's a BIG plus), actually stuffed with a generous amount of cheese and sauce is quite tasty. The batter is "different" and far superior to most other chili relleno fried batters. Quite pleased. The sauce is so tasty too! The taco lacked nothing, stuffed full and the burger actually had flavor. Very filling. The refried beans were average (needed to be filled with onions and more cheese). Overall, outstanding.
The Huevos Rancheros was a large portion with great sauce and "again" outstanding. The tortillas were hot and plenty to be quite filling.
Did not have a margarita but OH MY, it was a BIGGIN the table next to us had and the server said that was only the medium size.
The prices are SO reasonable, I could eat there every day. The restaurant was clean and had cute decor.
Highly recommend.

Worst experience ever. Servers were completely racist to us on purpose. We went there happy and excited to have some nice dinner for my mom’s birthday and instead got terrible service. The food we ordered came out completely wrong and instead of listening to our issue the server talked back, cut me off, and completely ignored the issue and just said we will bring out the rest of your order since it was just one mistake but it was multiple. Two orders were completely wrong. The servers were completely rude and ignorant they never came to check on us and would go to the other customers all happy and smiley giving them attention multiple times. We kept having to stop them just to get basic utensils as well. As soon as we got there did not get anything just was thrown some chips and salsa very rudely asked what we wanted. We noticed some other customers that came in after us and was given utensils, some smiles, and lovely greetings.

It pains me to write this review. We have been going to Tres Toritos since 2008. We noticed the last two visits something is off with the food and the service. The last visit had the beef Fahitas which were very very tough and stringy and much smaller portion. The chips were cold and stale. This visit we had the carnitas. The plate had 6 small pieces of pork on it that were dry. No sauce whatsoever. The plate was mostly rice and beans. About a teaspoon of guac. We asked for salsa verde for the pork and it took forever to arrive. When it did it was one one of those little plastic condiment cups with about 2 tablespoons of the sauce. The service was also very very slow even though it was Sunday and the place less than half empty. This has been our go to restaurant for Mexican food and we are super disappointed. Not sure what the issue is but we hope the owner reads the reviews and makes adjustments. My guess is that the cost of food might be causing part of the issue. Maybe owner needs to change menu price to keep servicing the quality food they have had in the past.

Nice restaurant in St. Clair. Robin's Rustic Nest was closed, facilitating our trip here to grab some good food! You won't go wrong or hungry eating here! Good food and service!
