Checo's Mexican Restaurant

We were there for graduation weekend. We were the first group in the building and the last to be served. Took 40 minutes for our group to get drinks. And were there 1.5 hours before we were even asked about placing orders.

I ordered the number 20: enchilada, burrito, and chimichanga. All ground beef and cheese melted over it. Nothing else. No flavor...so bland! I've had other dishes here that weren't bad. Not by far my favorite Mexican restaurant!

EAT HERE! The food is AMAZING and there's always excellent service. 10/10 go stuff your face here. Nothing on the menu will let you down.

Went to Checo's for lunch on a Thursday. It was very clean and had a good atmosphere. The host was friendly and sat us down immediately. Our server was very prompt and friendly. He really took great care of us. The food was delicious and served quickly. When my niece asked for a to-go box, he not only brought it but a separate container for the leftover salsa and a new bag of chips. It was a very sweet gesture as she is a nurse and the leftovers were to be her dinner in the middle of the night during her shift. Best of all, the server managed to be attentive without interfering in our conversation. That takes talent and observation. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Sunday evening last minute choice, which was a great one. Friendly staff, good decor, clean, good service, and the food has authentic flavor of Mexico. Will definitely return.
