Poor excuse of Mexican food. Chicken enchiladas tasted like unseasoned tomato paste, tortilla was uncooked and chicken as well. Salsa tasted of heaven canned tomatoes. No salt or seasoning in salsa, tortilla chips. And ground beef for tacos has zero seasoning. Could not get a refill on tea as they only had one cup full. Do not eat here even Taco Bell taste better. Being from south Texas I know what Mexican food is.

We ordered togo when there were 2 other tables in the restaurant. The order took about 30 minutes to come out and then one order of steak tacos was incorrect. When we we went back in to ask for the avocado the order was missing they gave us avocado that was visibly fuzzy with mold. The food was something you'd get from a freezer section at a grocery store. Not worth spending the money or time to get food here.

Found this place while driving thru St James. I will not lie. We were kind of concerned when we pulled in and was one of the only cars in the parking lot. We were greeted and quickly seated.We have always favored Mexican food but rarely find one that compares to our local favorite. However, when the chips and salsa arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The chips were warm and fresh, and the salsa was very flavorful with a hint of heat.We each ordered something different. I got the shrimp tacos, which were delicious with lots of fresh lettuce and Pico de gallo.Overall, we were all highly satisfied with our meals. It was a great meal at a great price. We will stop by again.

First time in this restaurant, and although there is really nothing noteworthy about the outside, inside is completely different. Summer was very accommodating, and the food was excellent and quickly brought to us. I'd recommend this place to anyone. We're going back soon.

Atmosphere was boring and the food was so salty it would take my breath away and choke me with every bite I tried to take and as far as the price very expensive for food I couldn't even eat without having to choke it down. I will never return to this restaurant. I would not recommend this place as you can get better food from a gas station.
Parking: Plenty of parking because no one goes there because the food sucks.

They didn't even know the thing I ordered. When I said it was wrong and told them the description they refused to admit they got it wrong. Heard someone say the cheese wasn't curdled this time. Way to expensive for some dry piece of meat

We went at lunch on 12/29/2022, Chips tasted bad , like cooked in old oil, ordered lunch specials and food was cold , bad all around. It was 12:20 and only 2 tables of people there. Will never be bad.Will go to Rolla. Over charged on food also .
Parking: Muddy parking and pot holes all over entrance way.

After stopping at St. James winery, my family and I stopped here to have lunch. We were the only people in the entire restaurant, yet there were tables full of dishes.My son ordered a taco salad that looked like a poor comparison to cereal. The carne asada fries were not worth the $9.99 we spent, they were soaked in cheese and lacked all the extra that makes carne asada fries just that! My husband and i ordered the speedy Gonzalez meal- 1 taco, 1 enchilada and beans or rice. We both got either the rice of the beans so we could share the side (rice or beans) my taco came soggy and soaked with beans so it immediately broke apart. The rice wasn’t half bad but the beans were terrible worse than out of a can (and i don’t mind them out of a can), the enchilada tasted like a poorly made ravioli. The service wasn’t bad, but i definitely won’t be back. Food was even remotely not good for the money spent.My kids aren’t overly picky and don’t complain when taken out to eat but they said it was gross and don’t want to ever go back.

We just wanted to get a margaritas & chips & cheese, we were just stopping through St. James. Google mapped this place, found the sign, but it was hard to figure out if the place was open, at 6pm, there was only about 3 cars near the place. We walk in & there was one table of 3 & apparently that was friends of the waitress? We ordered our margs & asked for cheese to go with our chips, cheese was watered down, so runny. Salsa is excellent, thumbs up for that. Table of friends of waitress, whom she sat down with, was giving the (owner?/the guy who seated us) advise on how to get more people in to the place. 3 other people came in while we were there. Maybe try being more attentive to your customers & interacting with them? As we walked out, waitress came to register as if to collect our money, my husband told her, we left it on table, she responds, ok, have a good night. No, thank you for coming in. The place looks good & clean, I wouldn't say it was horrible, however, friendliness is a big fail. If we are ever passing through again, pretty sure we'll stop in Rolla first & find anywhere else.
