Not sure what's going on with sonic. Their prices have gone up. Their service is gone down. Just ordered a large shake and it was about 3/4 of the way full.
Arsonic arsonic has been going downhill for a while. I think you're better off to go get shakes at mcdonald's

We showed up here on June 26, 2025 and they literally told me I couldn’t use 24 in cash and 3 on a debt card. The server said “we can’t do that”, so I just ended up using my card to pay the full amount. Never heard of a restaurant refusing a split payment like that. Also once we got our food it wasn’t even our food. Then we finally got our food and then they forgot the sauces. Never will be back at this location.

Was trying to door dash for a customer the person got really hostile and threated to ban me from doing door dash orders through them. I waited 20 minutes on shakes the first time and were completely melted the first order..then my second order they said someone already picked it up . The girl working was extremely rude and unpleasant. Seemed she needs coaching or in another career entirely. If this is how you treat customers then I doubt you will keep customers.

Messed up both our orders, and it hasn't been the first time. Paid for chocolate syrup and extra oreos in my milkshake and didn't receive any. And my boyfriends large milkshake was filled ¾ the way.

Every time I go to this sonic they mess up my order. Literally pay extra for cherries in my drink just the other day and I never got them. Had zesty fries with the same order, no zesty sauce. Ordered mozzarella sticks and they never put in the marinara( Literally every time). I add extra marinara thinking maybe they will at least give me the extra one, but no. Do they not read the order. Are they not trained to read a ticket and put what is on the ticket in the bag? Do they not check the order to ensure accuracy? I could reach out to management and get it fixed if I drive back wasting my gas, but what is the point. Fixing one order doesn't fix the problem. Who has the time to go back for what should have been included everytime you order. I have 15+ years in food service, seems to me the management isn't doing their job.If you do anything specific ie light ice, no ketchup so on, it will be made how it is listed on the menu. Not how you ordered it. I shouldn't have to do their job and check the bag to make sure it's right. This is just ridiculous.

The sonic at st James mo. My experience the burger was dry like it had been in a oven staying warm . Damn sure wasn't fresh. More like beef jerky burger. Won't go back.

I usually get the garlic cheese burger, crinkle fries and a milk shake. This is my favorite order. Fast service and friendly carhop.

I wish they would get the mocha crunch drink back!!!! Sometimes it takes awhile to get your food even if you're at the drive-thru and it's a bit pricey but I guess that is true with everywhere lately. Highly recommend the chili cheese Coney grilled cheese corn dog mozzarella sticks and my daughter loves the blue raspberry rainbow nerd slushie.
