Likes to mock disrespect and insult trans people. They took a video w out permission and posted it to their business Facebook, kept it up after “they” the person ASKED them to remove it! Now I’m reading the hubby is beating the wife??? So was it also the husband that won’t remove the video of MX Diza??? Makes ya wonder if it’s both ppl that are ignorant or just the male. The male also likes to lie to the court and file for a public defender even though he claims he owns several businesses ????? is this man ruining your reputation bc you won’t come back from all this I’ll tell ya that. Peace out transphobes!!! ????

I don't recommend homo/transphobia, bullying of a trans person by posting a nonconsensual video of them (or anyone) then doubling down on it, or The Popcorn Corner's overpriced food/drinks. It would be great if The Popcorn Corner didn't post nonconsensual photos/videos of anyone, especially not vulnerable groups of people, like trans people. Regardless of legality, it's still immoral; it's also unsafe, especially in small towns like Rolla. For a business with owners that post religious content, The Popcorn Corner certainly didn't ask WWJD in their response to this problem. When this problem was brought to their attention, it would've been much more professional and Christlike of them to hold themselves accountable by deleting inappropriate, nonconsensual photos/videos instead of doubling down by posting cussing emojis and threats to those telling them there is a problem. Again, WWJD? The Popcorn Corner wouldn't even apologize for there being a misunderstanding--just straight to attacking us and our LGBTQIA+ community for "spreading evil." There are screenshots and screen records of all this. I made a supportive post on my profile about this business around the 4th of July last year, despite not having been there yet, because their online presence was always so positive. They were being targeted and harassed by local police, so I made a post encouraging the Rolla community to support The Popcorn Corner; the business "loved" my post and commented on it. While I don't want them treated poorly by police or for anyone to come here attacking them on a personal level (fellow White LGBTQIA+ folks, do NOT meet homo/transphobia with racism) I absolutely withdraw any support for their business. And that's all without getting into my personal experience of finally going to The Popcorn Corner. I once went with a cis man looking how I usually do (my hair was a bit longer), and we were treated with respect. We were asked how we were doing, chatted up about the day and their business, asked if we'd like to try XYZ... Great service. Ended up getting an overpriced slushy for the size it was, but supporting a small business felt worth it. When I went with a cis woman who looked femme while I again looked how I usually do (shorter hair this time), we were treated differently. The owners were quiet, didn't ask us how we were, didn't chat us up, didn't offer anything to try. Charged us more for a small cup of tater tots than it costs to buy an entire bag at the grocery store. We never went back, mostly because the prices for what we got were ridiculous at that point. I wanted to give the owners the benefit of the doubt that they were just having an off day, but no. The Popcorn Corner's owners have revealed themselves to be homo/transphobic. So much so that The Popcorn Corner posted 2 nonconsensual, intimate (in a bikini) videos of a trans person to this public business page then refused to take those videos down when that very same trans person made it clear they didn't want that posted of themself. I've since been blocked for *respectfully* asking a question then pointing out how The Popcorn Corner's response to this problem was not okay nor what Jesus would do. Again, there are screenshots and screen records to prove all of The Popcorn Corner's bullying behaviors listed in this review.

These business owners enjoy harassing people in public and then posting videos of it online so those individuals can be mocked and harassed. They're a bunch of lame bullies with JV energy, yearning for the days when they could stuff the kids who were different in their lockers.

When you walk in, this is a nice, cozy shop with plenty to display. The staff was great and really welcoming. They have a large selection of ice cream to choose from, and you get a good serving for the price. They offer multiple flavors of popcorn, including Grawberry and Oreo. We got a Chocolate Chip Cupcake ice cream that was rich and creamy with a cookie chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. This will be a destination for all of Rolla to experience and love. We will definitely return.

My little girl and I tried this place out today and it was AMAZING. Tons of flavors for popcorn and ice cream. The soul food plate was so good I practically slurped the juice from the collards out the tray ? we got the strawberry shortcake ice cream which was perfect and we took home watermelon and bday cake ice cream- both delicious!! We will be back here again!!!
