A wonderful cafe that serves comfort food with great service. The staff is cheerful and accommodating. On Mother's Day the cook did not show up. One of the waitresses rolled up her sleeves and did the cooking! Talk about dedication. The wait staff all deserve a raise

I stopped at Country Cafe in St. Robert for a quick lunch. The place has a classic diner feel, and I was seated immediately. They offer smoking and non-smoking sections, which is a rare find these days. However, even in the non-smoking area, you can definitely smell cigarette smoke. If that bothers you, you might want to reconsider. I ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with fries. The sandwich was excellent – good flavor, nice breading, and a fair price. The fries, though, were a bit pale and undercooked for my taste. The service was friendly and fast. Overall, the food was decent, but the smoky atmosphere is a drawback. I'd go back for the tenderloin if I was in the area, but the smoke would be a concern.

I'll be honest it was really bad the food..I ordered the ribeye breakfast and I ordered medium well and it came raw then they heated in the microwave instead on the grill..the hash brown very blend no taste at all ..the service was crappy...they definitely needs a better chef..

I was traveling through Missouri and stopped for the night at the Best Western hotel next door. The hotel manager suggested I try the Country Cafe in the morning, and I'm really glad I took his advice! I had a wonderful breakfast and experienced very friendly service at this establishment! The eggs were cooked just right, and I really enjoyed the potato side and rye toast. Everything was just right, and the server was exceptional and attentive. There's nothing quite like starting your day with a good country breakfast served by people who are dedicated to great service and creating a very customer friendly atmosphere! I highly recommend this unassuming but super delightful gem of a restaurant!

We are a small military family traveling to St. Louis and this was a breakfast stop before continuing on for the day. The food was so delicious, the service was amazing. My kids ate all their food, It was a small reminder of home and it was very comforting.
