Amazing catfish and fries. Highly recommend.

The is the Best catfish I have ever had. The batter was light and flavorful and the fish so tender you can tell it is fresh. I tried the Cajun and the mild and both were equally amazing. The Cajun did a bit of a kick but very minor. It was all flavor. I love the atmosphere it is a small mom and pop shop and the owners are very nice. This place was so good I came back the very next day for twice the amount of fish. I would recommend this place to anyone if you’re in the mood. You will not be disappointed.

Fan-freakin-tastic food!! By far the best homemade mom n pop style restaurant in a 40 mile radius. The cajun catfish is so huge theres no way you can finish a 2 piece meal the fries are sliced fresh and the hush puppies are delicious. The atmosphere is homey Dr Phil is always so nice to our kiddos and his wife cooks up all your food fresh on the spot. Truly a hidden gem!!

I have been going there for years because there is no other place that serves catfish as good as Dr. Phil. My wife and I also like the hush puppies and the potato salad.....which is truly homemade by the owner's wife. Great food and a clean place.

If you want mom and pop, you will get mom and pop. The food was delicious.

Had the best ever Cajun catfish fries and green beans for lunch today. Wow! It was hot and fresh not over seasoned. Fries were delicious. Green beans was surprisingly fresh like home cannings and not mushy like store canned beans. Will come back again next time we're in town. Hopefully you will still be open.

Best catfish in town. Great service from a gentlemen who has arthritis as bad as I do so I feel his pain. Interior isn’t the greatest but they do the best they can.The bad reviews above are from fake customers who on Facebook said they were going to do a bunch of negative reviews to support someone who got belligerent because their order was wrong.

The Cajun spicy catfish is fresh and delicious! Not much on atmosphere, it is a no-frills kinda place but the amazing catfish makes up for that.

If you want sub par food and like even worse service, this is your place. Owner is awful, had the displeasure of being around him multiple times growing up since my dad is friends with him. You can even see the way he argues with and belittles the people who leave him negative reviews. Please, give your money to people that can work hard without being being awful.

This restaurant serves the best catfish in Missouri. The food is always served fresh and hot! You get quality service, the restaurant is clean, and the environment is family friendly. The good is reasonably priced for the amount of food you receive. There are other options of food to choose from on the menu.

Great food and great service! I've been coming here since I was a youngin. Don't listen to everything you hear on the internet...people CAN lie on reviews and now people who have never even eaten here are leaving bad reviews on an elderly couples business. Shame on all of you. If you don't like this place or the people, go somewhere else...plenty of places to eat, no need to threaten people for doing what they are legally allowed to do - refuse service to anyone and for any reason!

I absolutely LOVE their hush puppies. I’ve gotten them twice and they never make it out of the parking lot. They are fantastic and we’re made to order. Their bbq pulled pork and fries were really good. The place is clean.
