The is the Best catfish I have ever had. The batter was light and flavorful and the fish so tender you can tell it is fresh. I tried the Cajun and the mild and both were equally amazing. The Cajun did a bit of a kick but very minor. It was all flavor. I love the atmosphere it is a small mom and pop shop and the owners are very nice. This place was so good I came back the very next day for twice the amount of fish. I would recommend this place to anyone if you’re in the mood....
Fan-freakin-tastic food!! By far the best homemade mom n pop style restaurant in a 40 mile radius. The cajun catfish is so huge theres no way you can finish a 2 piece meal the fries are sliced fresh and the hush puppies are delicious. The atmosphere is homey Dr Phil is always so nice to our kiddos and his wife cooks up all your food fresh on the spot. Truly a hidden gem!!
I have been going there for years because there is no other place that serves catfish as good as Dr. Phil. My wife and I also like the hush puppies and the potato salad.....which is truly homemade by the owner's wife. Great food and a clean place.
