After hearing positive comments from the community about this local pizza place, I was excited to try it for the first time. We called at 7:30pm Monday for a pizza and calzone and told it would be about 20min. We pull up at 8:03pm to find the door locked and an employee closing up. We knock and are told that they closed and our food has been thrown out.. at no point over the phone were we told that our order was placed closed to closing (their pinned facebook menu says they close at 9pm PLUS their hours posted on their actual door says 9pm as well) NOR were we given a single courtesy call (they literally asked for our phone number when we placed the order). The employee also acted like this was our fault and we should’ve known better. This is extremely wasteful of everyone’s time and money and a lack of respect and care for their own food and customers.

Ordered 8 sweet chili wings for $15. The flavor was decent, but the portion felt overpriced for the quantity. I understand the restaurant was closing, but it was disappointing to find out there’s no public restroom available for customers. On a positive note, they gave us a complimentary calzone, which was a great gesture and honestly the highlight of the visit. Good customer service moment there. Overall, an average experience with a nice touch at the end.

Not bad, staff looks kind of grungy. My order was 14.99 for one topping medium pizza carry out. I gave the guy 15 dollars and he gave me back a dollar, I looked at him confused as he said I didn’t want to dig out 99 cents. Cash register is probably short every night if this guys math is this bad. He then turned around and started making orders with the same hands he just touched my cash with. So I probably will be sitting on the toilet if I eat this. Hope everyone is up on their shots and I don’t get hepatitis.

While inflation has made many chain restaurants borderline unaffordable on a reasonable budget, TKs is a place where a family of four can eat plenty and enjoy the flavor of the food. The pizza comes out fast, and this mom and pop shop has refined their techniques and customer service for over 40 years. When my wife and I ate here this month, it was almost exactly how we remembered first eating it 20 years ago. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
