I ABSOLUTELY love when you stumble across an authentic feeling restaurant and that's just what we found at The Hub. I'm a sucker for food bc I love to experience cultures and I believe that it's best done through good authentic food. This place was amazing. I didn't get to get my favorite, which is their goulash because they were sold out but it was later in the evening so I understand that completely. But the pretzel was so delicious. So soft on the inside but had a good crunch like texture on the outside. The German potato salad was amazing as well. Very well seasoned. I got the schnitzel trio and OMG was it right on point. The ONLY thing wrong with it in my opinion was that I would have preferred the lemon on the side just because where the lemons were made the breading slightly soggy and I prefer the good crunch with fresh squeezed lemon on it. Other than that I definitely will come back!!

Bland, cheaply made food and over priced. Not authentic German food. Not the cleanest establishment either.

One of the gems outside of Ft. Leonard Wood. Food has remained phenomenal however the atmosphere is not what it used to be. It used to be very authentic and now feels like a normal spot that happens to have good German food.

My wife and I were at Fort Leonard Wood for our daughters graduation from boot camp and afterwards we went here for lunch.

SOOOO glad we did. The food was AMAZING! I love to try all different kinds of food and was glad we all ordered something different and everyone got to try all of the dishes. We had different shnitzels, all wonderful and a stuffed, rolled beef dish that was delicious. Everything seemed to be made from scratch. Beers were excellent and I don't even drink beer and the service was fabulous as well.

If you are in the area, I can't recomment this place enough. You won't be disappointed.

i’m not sure how the food is, i do know it smells good. however, i’m a part time door dasher and i can say the server on the bar side is not very nice at all. she doesn’t listen to what you have to say, nor does she show any empathy of what’s trying to be stated.

So, we live by Chicago, and we get spoiled with awesome food. And this place definitely came through on authentic & unique food! It definitely hits the authentic German for sure & the wine & beer selection is amazing! I got a 2020 bottle of wine and it matched the food perfectly! I was shocked at the price being under $30 for the bottle! We didn't get the beer but I saw plenty of folks ordering it. I have the shrimp, steak, & lobster trio(I forgot the name). And it was only $49.95! That's crazy for that type of seafood in the Midwestern states! Also, it was fresh and served with drawn butter that had a special test that used a tea light to keep the drawn butter warm. The others in our party ordered some authentic German food & they loved it! And don't get me started on the dessert!
The service was also amazing! The waitress was awesome! Just when I was thinking, "I need something", she was there! She didn't hover but she had perfect timing with drinks, appetizers, and main entrée!
When we visit again, we will Definitely be putting this restaurant on our trip!

This food is way overpriced, especially for being the smallest portion and causing food poisoning.

The hub has a huge selection of food, drinks and the service is top notch. Gypsy at the bar will remember your drink order, food order and everything in between. On a slow night you'll get personalized service and when it's busy you'll have a blast with the people who show up here. My favorite place in saint robert for food, drinks and service. Try their Korean BBQ wings if you're not in the mood for authentic German food or their schnitzel comes in alpha gal friendly versions... yeah, I have alpha gal. Lol. Love this place.
