As a band kid that does a lot band stuff and work I still go to the down home bakery and get a coffee and either donut holes or a long John some of the coolest people I know very sweet and kind great service and great conversations

These donuts bring back childhood memories. The paradise donuts have been in Salisbury for as long as I’ve been around! My little boy also loves to get donut holes as well!

Oh my goodness. You can get the BEST bakery items and meals here. I had the Fried Chicken dinner and it was SOOOO Very good. So good in fact that when it was served I immediately started eating and didn't get a picture. It is worth the drive to visit here.

Had a piping hot breakfast this morning, consisting of bacon, eggs, toast and coffee. It wasn't lukewarm, it was hot. The service person was happy, polite and friendly too.
Wheelchair accessibility: Roll up ramp, ground floor, the bathroom door may not be wide enough for a wheelchair, not sure.
Great place. A little waut some times. It's worth it. Food is always good. Owners are amazing.

I love this Bakery! With the immediate welcoming you get as you step through the door to the amazing food prepared by one of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet! I come here at least once a week and will forever remember the DownHome Bakery in Salisbury! Definitely come here for the tastiest Donuts and the most savory breakfast food you ever have!
