NOT family friendly! Our family was passing through from out of town and thought this would be a great place to rest and refule. NOPE. The manager made it very clear we were not from round them parts and as a result would need to wait until all the locals were finished. This was on mothers day mind you. Outsiders be weary.

Visited on mother's day and after a 15 minute wait we were passed over for a group of three men who had just walked in. They must have had a special relationship with the manager the night before if you catch my meaning. When we tried to point out her oversight she became a real c u next Tuesday, if you know what I mean. Decided to let her cool off, called later and she raged out on us. I'm not sure I'd they hate veterans, families or small children? Had to be one of those things.

My wife absolutely loves breakfast food so for Mothers Day we decided Savannah Family Restaurant would be perfect. Its out of the hustle and bustle of larger towns and all the times we had been there it has been enjoyable. Service is never awful, but some folks are more friendly than others. However on the particular Mothers Day we got to meet one of the most wretched people in the entire US food service industry. We had been waiting for fifteen minutes when three men came in and were promptly seated ahead of us. We asked the lady who was seating people and who happened to be the manager what happened. They dont do call ahead or reserved seating either. She just started yelling at us saying its first come and because its Mothers Day well just need to wait. We tried explaining to her we had been waiting, a mother and a baby on mothers day had indeed been waiting. She didnt care, she got belligerent so we took off. We tried calling later and it was the same lady who had somehow gotten even nastier. Im not sure if this place families, small children, veterans, outsiders or all of the above. They need to get over their biases. If not from round them parts best be avoidin!

OMG. This restaurant is outstanding. I am a breakfast person. This food is great. 3 eggs, hashbrounds gravy, biscuit and sausage. The Horseshoe Breakfast. Their coffee is very good. Glad I stopped in.I dropped my Holland off at Angel's vet. Pick up at 2 pm.And my server was outstanding. Fast, accurate and friendly.

Friendly service for the most part , food is good , I don't like that when I call in my order that I ask them to wait to cook it about 15 mins, and when I get there it's all ready setting up on front counter, did they wait too cook it no, and it sets on counter for 10 to 15 mins so it's cold , other than that nice place to get breakfast

Restaurant is always cold, but really need heat on during the winter. Temperature outside is 4 degrees, and only 65 in the restaurant.

Went for the all you can eat Walleye. The fish was pretty good but just a tad greasy but still good. Salads ? a pretty good size and fresh. Baked Potato I had was pretty good. The service was good and friendly. I would recommend it for this. I haven't tried anything else yet. They had a display case full of good-looking desserts.Parking: Big parking lot right off the hwy going through town.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice ramp going up onto the deck to the front entrance.

My car was getting worked on next door at the mechanic shop and so I first went in for breakfast and it was delicious the waitress staff was super nice and welcoming. Then I found out that my car was gonna need towed. So we went back for lunch. There was one issue with my food and it was fixed immediately. The waitress was still super nice. Then they let us sit and drink coffee while we waited what seemed like forever for a tow truck. Absolutely recommend stopping in for a meal.
