Applebee's Grill + Bar

Ordered 12oz ribeye and probly 8 oz of it was grissle and fat.
The service was great. There were kids running jumping and yelling. All over so the atmosphere sucked.

Years ago we'd come here pretty often but the last time I went it was in the middle of the day and the place was dark smoky and stank and the waiter was acting weird and didn't help much,sadly it has gone downhill,probably won't be back

My 93-year-old mother and I have visited Applebee’s in Sedalia a few times over the past year, and our experiences have generally been positive. However, our most recent trip was disappointing.

We arrived during a quieter time, with less than a handful of guests… Mom requested a coffee (it was 6 degrees sands snowing out), the waitress informed us that they were out of coffee until their delivery truck arrived. It felt as though we were more of an inconvenience than valued guests.

We waited half an hour for our order of a salad and a bowl of soup. To be honest, the salad seemed like a random assortment of whatever ingredients were available, far from the quality we had enjoyed before. The breadstick was hard and stale, and at $15 for the salad, it felt overpriced.

In the end, we finished our meal and left, sensing that they might have been low on several items. We would have preferred to be informed about the lack of freshness instead of being served what felt like old food.

Unfortunately, this turned us off enough that we won’t be going back anytime soon.

Terrible service... silverware was just tossed on the table...food was horrible and I watched busboy just smear food all over the table and not really cleaning the table. Just nasty all around.

While the food tasted good both my fiance and I got very sick after we ate there last night. We both had steak(ribeye and sirloin), loaded mashed potatoes and salad and he had steamed broccoli with his. Within an hour after eatingy fiance got bad stomach pains and water diarrhea that lasted thru out the night but stopped. Mine hit middle of night with burning and painful cramps then water diarrhea that has lasted over 12 hours and still sick.

I had a very bad experience at applebees. We had a group of people waiting for over thirty minutes. We asked them what was taking so long because we saw many empty tables (over half of the restaurant was empty) and the server setting it up was finished. Then we overheard the manager say to wait to serve on us and help other people. It was clear and rude because other people came in and were seated way before us. We would appreciate better training instead of making us wait.

It was during the slow time, looking like the previous shift did nothing to help clean up all of the tables. The lone waitress had to do it all, while two others went about their own business--even deflecting the duty of seating other customers. No team work, no coordination. The food? Disappointingly average. I'm well aware of how tough it is to run a business these days, but management includes recognozing the conditions and helping out on the floor. You've got to do better to succeed. Always act as if every customer is important. You can overcome the labor shortages we now have.

Server had no personally with RBF I hadn’t been to Applebees in a long while so i figured I’d give it a whirl… ribs looked like they were leftovers that you left on the counter and crossed your fingers to eat .. I sent it back, paid my bill last time attempting to eat there this restaurant is dead to me coast to coast….

Absolutely outstanding customer service and food! ?Today, my husband and I went to Applebee's for our 25th wedding anniversary on November 14, 2024, at lunch. ?We were so blessed to have Renneice ♥️as our hostess/waitress. She is absolutely amazing!! ??❤️Seriously, she has the best customer service and the warmest heart my husband and I LOVED her, so much! Please make sure you treat her right she is a priceless lady to have!

I will be honest it's been awhile since we've been to Applebee's it used to be our go to place but the last time (a couple years ago) we came here we waited a long time to be seated and the lady that used to work at Applebee's was not Renneice.
You guys let me say this again. Renneice is the reason we will be back there!!!
We go out for lunch every day and to have an amazing employee with customer service as spot on and great as Renneice is rare and so much appreciated. She just makes your experience positive. ? Thank you, Renneice!!!! ❤️ ❤️??
OK, now for our food.
I ordered the quesadilla burger with smashed potatoes, and it was incredible. I haven't had this in years, and I missed it so much.
My husband ordered the big cluckin sandwich, with steamed broccoli and iced tea.
His sandwich was awesome, freshly cooked, and a huge chicken breast. I definitely recommend trying it out if you haven't.
The steamed broccoli was perfectly cooked, and the iced tea was also really good. After we left, we were just so happy about the whole experience.
Thank you again, Applebee's and Renneice, for an amazing experience today! ❤️? We will be back!! ???
