I'm not very accustomed to Japanese food and they were very helpful with ordering.
The food was delicious, had steamed dumplings for appetizers, chicken and shrimp entree, it was very tasty 😋

Update mid-Aug 2024:
Still the best: Had the Happy Family (and Gen Tsaos again). Absolutely Delicious!Worth the money, definitely.

This is the new Joy Hibachi, opened in 2025. The food was very good.
We ordered the lunch menus: Hibachi chicken Bento Box and the General Tso's Chicken (both with fried rice and the onion soup). More than enough food for the price.
I can hardly wait to go there on date night.

We have never been to a hibachi restaurant before and didn't know what to expect, but we had such a good time. Yu, our hibachi chef, was so funny and personable and kept us entertained the whole time. I highly recommend the filet mignon, though all our food was good. I left with a very full belly. This is such a great place for Sedalia!

Great food, great service. Got the Beef Teriyaki, very generous portion of beef (practically a whole steak), cooked to perfection, good onion soup. Sushi rolls are generous and relatively cheap! Staff clearly care a lot about your experience

Good food, but not enough seafood in the seafood soup at all. $8 for 2 shrimp, 1 scallop and all broth and onions.

Had a great experience! Food was amazing and service was great. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy we still received our food very quickly! The gyoza was our favorite and the sushi and other food were very fresh! The Steak was also very delicious. Overall had an amazing experience and will return to try other menu options!

After a long day of running around town my girlfriend and I wanted to sit down somewhere and chow down. We decided on the new spot in town and boy oh boy did it not disappoint! They have a massive variety of different entrees and styles. The gyoza was phenomenal , sushi was fresh and delicious. We both got hibachi entrees and everything was flavorful and presented well. The steak was tender, the chicken was juicy. Excited to try their Chinese and ramen options. We can’t wait to add this one place to our regular spots in town!

Our first time for late lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. I tried the shrimp dumplings, vegetable tempura, spice salmon roll, and super crunchy roll. My husband had the General Tao Chicken. They did a great job bringing out the food at the appropriate times and it was very fresh and delicious. I especially loved the rolls. The ambiance is nice and the service courteous and timely in refilling our drinks and checking on us. Glad to know there’s a great spot for sushi in Sedalia. Hope to try the Hibachi next time.
