Colton's Steak House & Grill

Been to restaurant several times before.....last night was not good....server was fair but not as good as previous visits....Special Steak of Prime Rib @ $38.99 was very poor quality....usually get the 12 oz T bone. Overall experience was not like we had been used to visiting the restaurant in the past!

The food and service was great !!
We reserved a room, that was good and the atmosphere was good but the air conditioning made the room too cool and the fireplace was not lit, our group wasn't large enough to warm up the room and it should be noted there is a fee for reserving the room. This fee added to the total for each guest.

Sitting at the bar to eat and a server behind the bar knocked the honey people pour on their biscuits into the dirty dish water. She looked around to see if anyone noticed and then set it back onto the bar and walked away. 1 star for that. I did tell the person working the bar about it and they removed it.

We stopped on our way home for a nice meal, just two of us. We were seated right away in a busy restaurant, server was great. I had ordered a drink it was delicious. I was really looking forward to the ribeye and grilled shrimp until she brought us some rolls. I cut into it and poured on some honey. Then reached for the other half and that's when I saw the dead fly laying there next to the other half of my roll. I asked the server to cancel my order, my husband still ate. She said are you sure, I said yes my husband said there's a dead fly. She asked me three or 4 more times if I was sure I wanted to cancel my plate, I said yes. Then she asked if I wanted another drink. No ma'am. I do not want anything else from this place. She did apologize once. We paid our 70$ bill and left. I was not a happy camper, at all. And I definitely will not ever eat coltons again, no matter where. You can keep the flys.

My wife & I had had a long travel day. Found a hotel room for the night… and had thoughts that we were too tired to even have dinner… maybe we should just go to the hotel room and crash? Then I saw Colton’s Steak House & Grill next door. We were quickly seated… Summer got our drinks… and we both ordered. Wife got the 6 oz Sirloin Steak w/ Caesar Salad & Green Beans… I had the 6 oz Sirloin Steak & Fried Shrimp w/ Mashed Potatoes & Green Beans. Wow! We were pleasantly surprised what a wonderful meal we were both eating! Every item was perfect! We both grew up on farms that raised beef cattle so we know our beef. Those two Sirloin steaks were as good as we’ve ever eaten!

A fun and busy restaurant. Great music, at a perfect volume for table conversation, super menu choices prepared expertly, served nice and hot by friendly wait staff. The bucket of peanuts was A+!

If you love good food this is a good place to come to. I had a ribeye and grilled shrimp, very tasty 😋 The music was plenty loud but other than that it was a good place to eat.
