We had the boil bags and had so much food. The flavor was very good. Our sausage was a little overcooked but still tasted good. It took a long time to get seated and a long time for our appetizer to come out. Don't go if you are in a hurry.

Called to place To go order was told they could not take over phone. Thought must be real busy and hard to find help. Sunday after church . Not many customers. Ordered and got food. Fish ok. Had about 2 tablespoons of beans and coleslaw. Real disappointment compared to past.

This place has really gone downhill. The service was bad. The "manager" Alaura, was rude. Could not get any ones attention to fix any problems we were having. We were given ketchup instead of cocktail sauce. Put it on everything before realizing it was ketchup; which made EVERYTHING taste bad. No one came back to our table to even ask "How is everything" except when they brought our food. They even charged .10 per glass of water.and .40 per lemon slice! We had eaten there several times before, never charged for water or lemon! Alaura said we were banned from coming back. She would gave given ys a generous discount "IF" I hadnt disrespected her. By talking loud? Because I couldnt get any ones attention. Dont worry about banning me; we wont be back, but someone there owes me $9 for my meal that was ruined with the ketchup!

Several years ago this place served real catfish and it was good. The fish they serve now is swai and is rubbery & nasty. This place won't be around much longer if they don't turn things around to what they used to be.

We stopped here after a road trip. This place didn't disappoint as we were told they had great catfish. That is what we ordered. The 8 piece, came with beans, slaw and hushpuppies and all were great. The staff was very friendly and quick to help us. The place is very clean and has a lot to look at for decor.

Today we tried this place for the first time in our over a year of living in Sedalia as it was recommended by one of my husband's coworkers. We ordered takeout since we have a little kid and wanted a quick weeknight dinner. I got the jumbo coconut shrimp dinner and my husband ordered the 8 piece catfish dinner and we got a side of okra to share. Altogether we paid ~$45 which is pretty pricey but we heard it was good so we thought maybe it was worth it... oh boy were we wrong! I called ahead and was told it would be ready in about 20 minutes so I left almost right away and by the time I got there the food was already lukewarm. It had been 27 minutes exactly I know because I had to look at my phone log to see when I called the food in since she couldn't find my order (they had it under the wrong name for some reason) the food was pretty bland and flavorless.. I would not call it authentic Cajun food whatsoever, the rice was inedible, the coleslaw overly sweet, the okra was ok, but as a big fan of fried okra it was hardly better than something you'd get at Golden Corral, the catfish was pretty thin small pieces and needed salt, which was also the case for the okra. The coconut shrimp was lacking in flavor and I got sick of it halfway through when it was almost completely cold. For the price it was not a lot of food, my husband was still hungry at the end, albeit we didn't have all the food because of how low quality it was. Oh and the baked beans are just probably canned beans soaked in cooked barbeque sauce, actual canned baked beans are better. The hush puppies were actually alright
