Normally a fan of sonic. Tonight I had an ice cream craving so we went to sedalia and I got a chocolate shake. An hour and a half later and I still can't get it through the straw. Going to throwing away and go to bed.

Waited 20 minutes for two shakes. Couldn’t tell which one was which, and the car hop didn’t know either. After a drive home and unloading groceries, it is still not drink able. We ordered shakes not blasts, concretes, or blizzards. Very disappointed.

The food used to be good about a year ago, but now anything you get fried is so burnt and tastes like old oil. It’s disgusting and a waste of money. Stopped going a few months ago since every time we went it looked like this, and thought we would try again, but the tots were inedible and the pretzels were barely edible. I visited the Sonic in Sedalia, and while the employees were friendly and my food was decent, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. I ordered a Supersonic Burrito, which tasted good but was cooler than I expected. I also tried the crispy tenders with groovy sauce, and they were quite enjoyable.
However, the cleanliness of this location is a major issue. The parking lot was littered with trash and cigarette butts, and the sidewalk near the vehicles was filthy. The bathroom was one of the worst I’ve seen in a long time—absolutely disgusting. There was trash piled up near the trashcan at the front of the restaurant (as shown in the picture I took), and it looked like it had been there for a while.
The bathroom itself was shocking, with hair, fecal matter, and other unsanitary debris everywhere. To make matters worse, there was a hole in the wall exposing what seemed to be electrical wiring. From my past experience working in a restaurant, this level of neglect in customer-facing areas often reflects poor standards in the food preparation areas as well. If the staff can’t keep the bathrooms and public spaces clean, it raises serious concerns about how the food is handled.
This location needs urgent attention to cleanliness and maintenance. It could be so much better with some basic improvements.
Repeatedly argued with me about the coupon that I had. And then still did not apply the correct pricing. Food was cold and stale.

Ordered a mini blast, I was the only customer, it took forever. My total was $4.50, I have the gal a $5 bill. She gave me back a nickel & tried to argue that it was the correct change. She even inquired with a fellow employee who also didn't know what the correct change should be. I was just passing through, but locals beware & check your change.

I used to love Sonic a long time ago. However, coming here recently, it just hasn't been the same. they're charging more now for extra veg like jalapenos and stuff like that, and I just dislike that. And the way the burger is put together has been kind of a mess and you can't even tell there's lettuce on it it's like I don't know what happened but the service is gone downhill. I'm a coffee drinker, and their coffee is only on a discount before 10 am or used to be, and even on the app, the coffee drinks are not 50% off like the rest of their drinks are. If it was, I would come to Sonic once a day legit because I could afford it now. The coffee that I get is like $5. On the days that they have the burger Dill I wish that the dill started in the afternoon because my husband and I would come here for lunch on that day but it doesn't start until the evening when we have all four of our kids you know and we don't leave our house to go all the way into town for cheaper burgers. The people who work here are genuinely amazing. I love them. I always try to tip them because they deserve it. I'm just not sure what's going on in the kitchen. 😅 You guys used to have this mocha blast, and I loved it . They never had it back since they originally had it, and it was one of my favorite thing to get from Sonic.
Parking: One of their locations is off of Broadway in a kind of busy area, and depending on the location you're coming from, you might have to do a u-turn at the light. The other location is on 65, going south. It's not as in an Inconvenient area, and they do have a drive-thru at that location.
Kid-friendliness: Is there a kid's meals are affordable and they actually have a great selection my kids love to eat the grilled cheese I personally wish that they toasted the grilled cheese a little more it's kind of like bread with melted cheese in the middle but my kids will eat it so hey it works.
I have no complaints about Sonic it's self. I had difficulty with the sonic app and did not get a drink because i had to get to work. The app would not let me order.

Well to be honest on Sunday Aug 18th at apprx 11pm Marsha took our order and was completely rude with a bad additude that will most likely keep me from ever coming back to this location I mean if she hates her job that much they should prob keep her in back away from ppl cuz I completely lost my appetite after she came at me sideways with my youngest son in the car also so beware Marsha is no to bring about
