An old style small town cafe. Large portions of good home cooked food and friendly personal service. Order a piece of Coconut Cream pie!
Took my Mom and Aunt here on the recommendation of a friend. There was 1 waitress, who was doing everything in the front of the house. There were approximately 15 people in the restaurant, including us. She was apologetic for making us wait to take our order. All 3 of us ordered the same hamburger and tots. We waited and waited, for over an hour, when she finally came by and said our food should be out soon. Finally, after 1 hour and 20 minutes, she brought our baskets out. All 3 hamburgers were charred and the toasted buns were burned. The tots were deep fried and all that remained were crispy shells. Anything "potato" was unrecognizable. It could have been an "off day" for the 2 people cooking, but it was a very disappointing experience that they thought it was OK to serve us burned food.
We eat here often. Always good. Big portions. Great prices! Hubby and I both eat and have a soda for around $20 plus a tip. Under new management!
Spotted this place while passing through town at lunchtime so stopped in. Very unpretentious, nothing fancy looking, but man, what a great place! Very ample portions and very modest prices! You could tell most everyone there was a Local and a Regular, and they all seemed as happy as we were! I had the meatloaf dinner and it was excellent, just the way I like it! Real pleasant easy going folks working there, too! Definitely glad we stopped!
I got food poisoning
They are always very polite and the food is great.
The food was good, but marred by the smokers who had no regard for those of us who don't like nicotine with our food. Will not return even though the food was well worth the price.

Really good food, great prices. Very nice waitress, just the smoking got to me. My daughter has asthma and they should have a sign saying “smoking allowed†so people know
Mama's Place has been operating from this location for over ten years. A number of locals were eating there the afternoon we stopped in. The waitress was kind, friendly and courteous. They even split a meal for us in the kitchen. We were glad we saved room for dessert, as the freshly made apple pie with ice cream was a great way to end our meal.

Food is decent. A mom and pop type diner. If you do not want to eat where smoking is allowed, you will want to avoid this place.
Hometown diner with home made desserts
Best double bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. Cheap prices, good food, great service, no frills. Feels like you are stepping back in time. America needs more places like this.
If you haven't tried this place yet, the next time you're passing through Seneca, take a few minutes to stop here & try most anything on their menu. You get lots of food for your money, and everything we have tried has been excellent! It get a little smokey when the locals gather at one long table to visit, but it's not too bad.
I've loved going here since i was a kid. My grandfather loved this place.
