The carnitas here are insanely good. The chef should get a Nobel Peace Prize for gastronomy.
Be very careful what you order here for the first time. It will be your favorite. I keep wanting to try other things on the menu but I can't because I only want the first thing I ever ordered here. My daughter has the same issue. She only orders the first dish she ever asked for. I have not tasted better Mexican food anywhere. Ever.
I have eaten there a couple times but here recently I noticed they have a Democrat political sign in their front drive. I'm not a Democrat and neither are my friends and family so therefore we will not eat there ever again. Time to Bud light these people. Go WOKE & go broke!
Go to the west side of town to El Patron instead. Better atmosphere, better people..
As you can see as soon as I called him out on it they pulled the sign down the next day so yes we know exactly who you people are.

Discovered this after a disappointing experience at The Rusty Spurs Cafe. Was so happy with the food and service here. Definitely a place I would eat at again and recommend to others.

Wonderful service and the food is outstanding! I have never tasted Mexican food like this! The restaurant is very clean and cheerful. I immediately felt relaxed. The service is excellent and the food came within minutes of ordering. The menu is 5 pages of colorful pictures of their food selections. No question about going back.

Best Mexican in town good food friendly staff
Similar to what we get in Old-Town San Diego. Everything seems to be fresh and homemade, and the prices are extremely reasonable! $8.99 for a steak fajita platter, that feeds two!
