This is by far one of the best BBQ joints we've come across. The service was friendly, the decor was typical rustic for the type of food. The flavor was spot on. It had the perfect balance of smoke and spices. And the portions? This was the first time I couldn't eat it all in a very long time. Definitely got our money's worth. The only down fall I came across was the brisket. It was a little on the tough side. However, the flavor was just as spot on as the pulled pork. I got fried okra and fries for my sides and they came out crispy, piping hot, and fresh. We were told by several sources this place was amazing, and it definitely did not disappoint. We found our new favorite BBQ!

ABSOLUTELY the BEST BBQ in SW MO. Hands down. No question. I've eaten a LOT of BBQ, and in SW MO, this is the best place to get wonderfully tasting BBQ of all kinds of meats with all kinds of sauces to add...not that it needs a sauce! Ambiance is really nice; I love it. You HAVE to read the SIGN on the door before you come in! Pictures of the family and such around the place is also meaningful especially if you sit in the booths to the left as you walk in. But just a great atmosphere all together. Food is great. Staff is great. Go here.

The pulled pork was amazing and the portion very generous. The service was top drawer! Definitely worth the stop!
Holy cow. From my husband, “This is what good bbq tastes like!” Everything was fantastic! We had turkey, brisket, and pulled pork w/beans and baked potato. Everything was AMAZING. The kids got chicken nuggets, and even those were from scratch. Three meals for 40 bucks AND it was, dare I say, better than city butcher? This place was a win! We’ll definitely be back

The food here is quite good. However, the service is poor. I was in a party of 5 and waited long enough to grab our own menus. After waiting 45 minutes, the food was very good, well priced, and we were all very happy. After eating, I went up to the register and paid for the meal. At that time, our waitress, the only waitress in the building, asked if we wanted refills. She was as pleasant as could be for being understaffed. Good place for a family to sit down and eat. Just be prepared to wait.

Classic BBQ place. Just the basic meats, no burnt ends, or pork belly. We did get big plates to go with the big prices. The young hitless they have running the place did decent.
