Boondocks Dive Bar-BQ

First time here, the food and service were good. BUT, I do think it was kinda pricey and upon walking in the dining area was incredibly dark. Not in a low light fancy or romantic, restaurant way, but like a dingy, they need to invest in some lighting kinda way. Usually this wouldn't be something I'd bother to mention or bring up but the restaurant looked closed when we first got there (within an hour after opening) and the interior decor with hardly any lights just made this place feel kinda sketchy or rundown. But like I said, the food and service were good. So I would eat here again but it wouldn't be my first choice due to environment and price.

Love the new expanded menu options and the staff is always friendly and great. Shell Knob is lucky to have a restaurant that cares and listens to their customers’ feedback and keeps making tweaks to better serve the community and its visitors with good food and drinks.

Food was good, we waited 1.5 hours for it. Fries were cold. My wife had to watch us eat for 30 minutes past the extremely long wait we already had for our food. We pulled in at 6:20, and didn’t leave until 8pm

Food was delicious and the waitress was very cheerful and helpful,, would recommend this place to everyone!

Best burger I’ve ever had! And the fries were amazing also. I honestly didn’t think you could make a burger any better but chef Angel did it. Had a double cheeseburger on the go. I’m not sure what they did it to make it so good. Maybe it was the toasted bun or the seasoning? Or maybe it was just made with love for the food that they cook! But whatever it was, I will be going back for another.

Had Taco Tuesday there and it was AMAZING! Tacos were great but the beans and cornbread was off the chain!

Taco Tuesdays 2 tacos with sauces, $7, extra tacos $2 each. Its your standard bar n grill with pool table, but the food is what makes this place stand out. And the barkeep/server. Super friendly and funny. I gave 4 stars because she questioned my request for a slice of lemon for my tea, and likened it to pouring tea in lemonade. Hahahaha

My husband and I stopped in this cute little bar for some drinks and karaoke for his birthday weekend. The people were very friendly and welcoming. We had a blast!
