New management. Wonderful service and Food. Nice Clean place to eat!

The manager is rude!. Service is poor! Quality of food leaves a lot to be desired! We gave it a second try; but will not return! No bueno!!!

Not to be extremely short and blunt, but this place is completely mid. Below mid even. The food is nothing to write home about. There is not much of an atmosphere but I suppose that is the best of the whole engagement, and the service is nearly the worst. I only go back there because my friend enjoys it lol.

This place has mediocre food never know if it will be cooked or not be careful if you get shrimp. The service is absolutely horrible never get refills and extremely lucky to get what you actually ordered. We went several times to see if it was just that day but its the same every time we go. Dont waste your time.

Wow, what a gem in Shell Knob. The food was top notch, as was the service and the pricing was very reasonable. We had a group of 7 people and ate and drank our fill! They also had some ceramics from Mexico for sale, including Jack o'lanterns, which we made a package deal on, to take and enjoy at home for seasonal decor. If you are in the area, please give them a try!

Parking: Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of spaces.

SO GOOD! Chips, salsa upon being seated were excellent! Ordered queso, enchiladas supreme, and beef chimichanga w/cheese sauce on the side. A different taste than our hometown of Jefferson City MO, but definitely not a disappointment! We mostly cleaned our plates (except the rice which we don’t eat, but am sure it was good), and were beyond full to the top with the generous portions! Service was friendly, fast and overall made for a very enjoyable dinner at the end of a long day!

Casa Maya was excellent! We stopped by for lunch and had a margarita, elote, queso fundido, and a molcajete - everything was phenomenal!

Margaritas were served in a fun, traditional, glass, and the food was perfect. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stop for a nice lunch or dinner headed to or coming from the lake.

Up until today this has been our go to Mexican restaurant in this area. Great food,great margaritas and good service until today. We were greeted by the same rude guy waiter that everyone is complaining about in these reviews. He greeted us with an annoyed sigh and eye roll and never said one word to us. It was so bad that we did not even stay to eat. We will not be back or recommend until he is gone. Don't let one bad apple ruin your business.

We were greeted as we walked in by an employee sweeping the floor who promptly sighed loudly and rolled his eyes at us. Without saying a word, he led us to a table and sat the menus down. We sat there a minute and decided to leave and not deal with a rude waiter and try to enjoy our lunch at the same time. I will add that there were no other customers there eating.
We have eaten here several times and enjoy their food. I’m not sure we will go back after this encounter. This man was beyond rude and should never work with customers.

Good evening, this evening, my family of 12 ate at your restaurant. The first time ever in my life of eating, in many restaurants that the waitress refused to split the ticket. She insisted that she did not want to split the ticket. I don’t mind buying my families dinner, but I thought it should be my choice not someone else’s.
