Food was okay. The waiter was great. But it was awfully cold in there. We asked to have the air conditioner turned up, but it never was. Several people around us were complaining about being cold, but nothing was done. I probably won't go back.

The atmosphere here is severely lacking. It seems dirty. Our napkins had spider webs on them. The chips were stale that came with our dip. The main entrée was good but I was on alert at this point.

Got seated, waited 30 minutes with no service whatsoever. No one came to take our drink order, but waitresses were laughing and cutting up with each other on the floor. Makes zero sense. We just got up and left. If we wanted to be ignored, we wouldn't have even gone out. Pitiful.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly, and our server was very pleasant, it didn't take long for the food to be brought out and it was good.

We ate at Applebee's in Sikeston last night 10/3/24. It was freezing inside the restaurant. We asked to turn the air down, no, they couldn't do that. The food came out, it was cold. The waitress was very efficient, and the food was sent back. The food came back and it was a good temperature, but because it was so cold in the restaurant out good was cold before we could finish it. Very disappointing. I'm done giving this restaurant my money.

At this location in Sikeston, Missouri , the food is always good, we have a lot of new crew members that do a great job, they are still somewhat short-handed, but they get everything done well, far superior to the Cape Girardeau Missouri counterpart.
Parking: It's one of the older smaller locations but parking lot is all right and Lowe's in Dollar tree are both okay with parking on the edge of the lot
Kid-friendliness: The waitresses make kids feel welcome for the most part
