Stopped here wanted something besides Burgers. Food was great, chicken was golden brown and not over battered...mashed potatoes and gravy was right out of someone's grandma's kitchen...They gave me a sampling of the chicken gizzards and livers...which they boil before frying and I am telling you buttery soft...and the special jalapeno sauce was off the chain!...Staff so friendly this is a must stop for us.
Chicken a touch bland. It was all not bad, but nothing particularly *good* either. Okra and biscuits were the best, and they would rank a solid 4/5.

Authentic Fried Chicken spot. Small dining area. Congested order area. Happy staff and clean restaurant. Open for breakfast which was odd but fried chicken tenders paired with French toast may be my new go-to now. What I wanted was Chicken and Waffles, what I didn't know was what I needed was Chicken and French Toast. Will definitely be back.
