First time going there it was ok nothing I
would write home too hubby enjoyed his meal but mine i ordered grilled chicken because of allergies but it was so dry couldn’t eat it the baked potato was luke warm the butter wouldn’t melt the roll was the only thing good ,really didn’t get any help from waiter when we said it was our first time eating there we were at loss about the sides going around he was friendly though The decoration was nice and interesting .
High capacity restaurant, gift shop & arcade. Loads of parking. On busy days the wait time is normally 30 minutes. Very efficient seating process. Inside the restaurant the staff are in perpetual motion with the tossing of rolls, following with toppings of apple butter & maple syrup, walking around with buckets of fried potatoes & fried okra. A very pleasant festive Southern dining atmosphere & experience.
Lambert's Cafe is one of my favorite places to go. I've been there many times and never had a bad meal. The best part is it's unique. The decor is interesting. And they love to throw rolls to you as you sit at your table. Hence the name Lambert's home of the thrown rolls. Not only to get a delicious meal. They also will refill your plate. They bring around different sides for you to taste or have. And it's a lot of fun there. Definitely definitely recommend....
