I ordered the house club. Terrible honestly charged me 8$ or more for it and put 2 thin slices of great value cheap meat and 2 thin slices of great value ham absolutely terrible. They already took my review down once so I'm here to continue to post it I will contact the BBB if it gets taken down again. I drove an hr back home to throw it in the trash. I figured as much as it costs you'd think they would throw fresh deli meat on it. Even subway has better sandwiches than this absolutely pathetic that they are okay with selling this quality of food.

In town and needed lunch. Saw Merick's and decided to try it, preferring local, independent businesses to the national chains.
The photos are better than the reality. The place has a slightly seedy atmosphere. The food was not good. Went with a Reuban, house chips and tea.
The sandwich was disappointing. Small pieces of stale marble rye, not grilled. Twice as much sauerkraut as corned beef, half-melted Swiss and I guess thousand island dressing but it got lost in the sauerkraut. The dill pickle spear was good. The house chips would have been fine if not salted so much they were inedible.
First visit, last visit. For $13, better options are available. Can't recommend.

Food was horrible!! We tried different sandwiches, got bugers, dirty fries, mac and cheese, cookies and fried cheese sampler. Not one this was good!! Worst $70+ we have spent in a long time. We will never be back here, and I will be telling people we know not to waste their money here!!!

I went in to have lunch today ordered fried pickles and a salad, my pickles came out burnt! When i went to the frint i was told they wernt burnt thats how they are cooked. So i asked for a refund! The place was nasty, the workers are walking around in sweatpants and crocks and the staff was rude! Maybe dont argue with the customer especially when there are other people in there that agreed that they were burnt and all i git was attitude.Find better employees. Maybe people who can use a fryer?
