If you have not tried Geri's dinner in Slater its absolutely a must. The tenderloin is huge it made the bun its comes with look like a small dinner roll & its so delicious. I eat here all the time and I got onion rings and Tenders today for lunch and they were way overcooked and when I bitten into my onion rings, they were crispy and you could taste how burnt the onion rings were. You know it was burnt before sending it out of kitchen you can clearly tell. By the blackness on them. Lazy and to expensive. Won’t be coming back here.

We drove from Columbia this evening for supper. This is a small town diner and exactly what we were looking for. We got the Chicken Fried Steak Dinner, and the Tenderloin Sandwich (it's huge!) and both were very good. We also got the cheese curds and fried mushroom- the fried mushrooms were slightly cold in the middle, but overall we had a really good time and enjoyed our meals. The staff is very friendly. We also got some fried pies to go.. and they were incredible. The peach and strawberry rhubarb fried pies are perfect. Prices are very affordable and the drive was definitely worth it.
The food is great and the staff are so friendly.
I love calling in my order and going inside to pick it up knowing I’ll be greeted with genuine kindness.
The Reuben was awesome and the guys loved their bacon burgers! 🍔 🔥

A perfect small town diner. Their ranch is the Chef's kiss. Tater tots amazing.
