If you have not tried Geri's dinner in Slater its absolutely a must. The tenderloin is huge it made the bun its comes with look like a small dinner roll & its so delicious. The fried pickles & sidewinders had tons of flavor. The prices are unbeatable for the amount of food you get. So if your ever in Slater stop in .
We drove from Columbia this evening for supper. This is a small town diner and exactly what we were looking for. We got the Chicken Fried Steak Dinner, and the Tenderloin Sandwich (it's huge!) and both were very good. We also got the cheese curds and fried mushroom- the fried mushrooms were slightly cold in the middle, but overall we had a really good time and enjoyed our meals. The staff is very friendly.
