Chris the owner has created a unique atmosphere that is part restaurant, sports bar, and something similar to the show Cheers! Everything about this place is fun, light, and delicious. My people are Southern, and I always said that I would never like anyone else’s BBQ outside of family. Well, I can no longer say that ever again. I’ve never had a bad meal, and the service is impeccable! Bobaque is a whole experience and worth the trip every time! Let’s Eat!

I'm not gonna say don't go.. I went sat for an hour and a half and the water was great...to bad our food never came yes an hour and a half later the waiter came back and said oh sorry we are out of rib tips..ok cool what about everything else we ordered...NVM we will leave

I went this past weekend and all 3 of us enjoyed our food. I hate that I didn't get a chance to get the barbecue, because they ran out. I will be back again soon. I heard other people at the bar talking about how good their food was. It was a long drive from my house, but the food was worth the drive.

10 toes down this is not the best place to congregate and have a good meal and drink. The owner has a problem communicating effectively orally.
He can be extremely rude, the food isn't all of that and the rib tips are not tender. Most times he doesn't even smoke his food on the grill and it taste like it.
He seems to be very unorganized, you never know when he is going to be open even if he says that it will be open it depends if he has the staff an or if the building/trailer will hold up for business.
Many have stressed their opinions to me by saying everyone warned the owner of Bobaque about renting this trailer for it has many many problems and everyone who has leased it has experienced them, because it is a trailer not a building.
The best bartender is Jules and Colin who is no longer there. He can't keep staff and the ones that he get doesn't want to work and don't know how to mix a simple margarita. I would have kept the shack he was in down the street where he paid $400 monthly for rent like others said.
The best thing about this place is that you can smoke in his smoke room any and everything that you want and watch tv and communicate with others that does the same.
He doesn't have any organization in any way. He has told me many times that he is overwhelmed and I believe him. I tried to continue to tell him job well done, but it is really very much disorganized and he can't keep quality people to work, because I was told he has favorites and he doesn't pay good.

Waited over an hour for my food that I ordered Togo only to find out that it was sitting on the counter behind the bar for 30 minutes, and when I asked why they were giving me cold food the guy just shrugged and walked away. Absolutely horrible service and horrible staff.

Super disappointed. Ordered a meal deal and was missing a side and the order of sausage. Not the end of the world…but then I got to the ribs. Just the worst. No hyperbole. Burnt to the point of no meat on half of the rack, and little on the other. I’m not sure if they were old ribs that were reheated, or it was just a bad smoke, but if I had smoked that, I would’ve thrown it out or gave it to the dogs. I had waited a while for the order so I assumed at least it would be semi-fresh…. I was wrong.
Giving 2 stars rather than 1 because the burnt ends were OK, and the owner does seem to try and do good for the community via the FB page. I respect that for sure; but not enough to overcome bad food.

We had a great experience at BobaQue in New Town! The BBQ was fabulous, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Even though BBQ nachos weren’t on the menu yet, we asked for them, and the owner/chef went above and beyond, making them for us! He mentioned they’ll be on the menu soon, which is great news. The atmosphere is fantastic, both inside and outside, with a cozy vibe. They even have a private party room and a cigar room, which adds a unique touch. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family doesn't eat out often, but I always love when I get the opportunity to eat here. Got to eat there with the fam on Saturday and as always, the food was delicious. Staff was friendly and hardworking. You can feel how much the owner cares for his customers and his food when he checks on you. New spot with the patio is a bonus as well.

Visited this hidden gem today ! The vibe was nice , the atmosphere was amazing and let’s not forget the outdoor seating!! But what made the experience a 10/10 was the owner !! Friendly , professional made me feel right at home !!!! And let’s not forget the rib tip (super tender) and potato salad !!!! Ever in the NewTown area it’s a Must try!!!
