There is not a slower restaurant on the planet. I think they went to Mexico to get my food. The server had an attitude when after waiting 45 minutes asking how much longer it would be. She was not friendly and rude. I hope this place goes out of business soon so a restaurant with management that cares moves in.

Worst Mexican restaurant ever. I went in to support a local business in neighborhood. Service was terrible wasn’t greeted properly. In addition to being body bump by customers at the bar. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. 0/5 stars from me.

Owner introduced himself at dinner the other day. Was very kind. We frequently come here for dinner. Great options and variety. They also have the only place I’ll order Molé in Missouri. Kids love it!

This review is about our service and the lack of communication from the owner. My chicken was over cooked so we needed our server. We had to ask another server to ask him to come to our table. The chicken issue wasn’t so much an issue, it happens and was replaced. We had needed refills I believe it was and so again needed our server. This time we noticed he was playing the machine in the restaurant. Now I don’t know if it’s a gambling machine or just a game but regardless it’s not appropriate. I reached out to Danny the owner by first messaging him on Facebook and I even commented on one of his posts stating I was messaging him (no response). I then called the restaurant and whomever answered was clearly screening my call but I did leave a message with her for him to call me (no call back). I wrote a post on our community page asking how to get ahold of him (no response from him). Due to his lack of communication and assumption he doesn’t care about his customers we will not be back.

Like so many other one star reviews on this establishment, we also had to wait over an hour for our food. It actually took the server over 15 minutes just to initially come to our table. I will admit that our server was very sweet and kind and knowledgeable about the menu but that's where the good news stops. We were getting ready to walk out and just pay for the drinks that we had...that was an hour and 10 minutes in. And that's when they finally brought us our food.
My husband ordered the enchiladas al pastor and I ordered the street tacos, one fish, one asada, and one chicken. All of my tacos were cold. My husband's enchiladas al pastor had less than half a cup of meat for all the enchiladas! His food was hot and he offered me a bite and he cut off 1/3 of one of the enchiladas and I had absolutely no meat in my bite. Their rice and beans are the worst I've ever had.
And the cherry on the Sunday of this disastrous evening is the ladies room was out of order! They suggested I use the men's room. Totally not impressed.
We will not be back.

The food is very good if it ever finds its way to your table! I’ve eaten here a few times and it always takes at least an hour after ordering if not more to get your food. The last time I ate here the owner was sitting at a table, and didn’t seem to care that the staff was over worked and the customers aren’t being taken care of.

This was quite simply the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. To start off we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. At first we didn't mind the wait since we just got done playing volleyball and had to kill some time. Around an hour and 15 minutes I asked our server how much longer the food will be, which he brushed me off and said shortly. I then saw a gentleman, later discovered to be the owner, come out and apologize to the table next to us. The owner then came and apologized to us and I asked him to please check how much longer our food will be due to us now having to leave in 15 minutes. Well, he never came back. Instead we watched him sit around inside and drink beers with his friends. At this point, I confronted the owner and told him it was simply the worst experience i've ever had. All he could respond with is that he gave me half off my bill and would've paid for my drinks but we weren't drinking. How an owner can sit around and watch their customers, this was MULTIPLE tables, be pissed off and not do anything to help it is insane to me. Not to mention during all of this my friend, who came after we ordered our food and drinks, was sitting around for over an hour and our waitress failed to even ask if she wanted food, drinks or even acknowledge she was there. We finally got our food and I will admit the food was decent but maybe like 20 minute wait good. After we got our bill, which was $21 after the 50% off, I gave our server $40 in cash and requested change back. I sat around for 15 minutes while I watched the server stand around at the back of the restaurant. My girlfriend then goes in and finally gets our change to which she comes back out with $9. $10 SHORT. I then have to go back in and confront the server to which he just gave me my $40 back in total. The lack of professionalism, respect, and overall knowledge of how to run a restaurant at this store is terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant at all!!!
EDIT: the restaurant was slightly busy towards the beginning but died down about 40 MINUTES into my wait for my food.

Casa Mia has been my favorite Mexican restaurant since the first location off Jungermann opened! Danny is super creative with food and drink options and the food is always A++ fresh and bursting with flavor. I recently fell in love with the 636 fajitas (ribeye fajitas) and the coconut mojito! Very friendly staff with excellent service as well!!! Always great vibes!!!

Wish I could give zero stars to this location, we usually go to the Saint Peter’s location but this one is closer to our house. Very dissapointed especially as someone who is a server and works in restaurant business . I’m pregnant and was craving some queso fundido so I decided to go out with my two sons because they love Mexican food. We sat for 15 minutes and two servers walked passed us , no drinks , no help with anything … then once I asked for a check to pay for chips and salsa all of a sudden someone asked have we been helped even though you can clearly see no food or drinks on the table . I even asked the host was their a server in this section and she answered “it should be” ….. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t like black people at the new town location or what ..because a Caucasian couple behind us that came after us got drinks immediately. Would never come back !!
Food was very underseasoned and bordered on flavorless. Was fresh and colorful. Service was slow on a Wednesday evening that was only about half full.

Best food and drinks!
Loved the food, the drink, and the service! Casa Mia hosted Mark Perkins after being rained out at the Amphitheater in Newtown.

Worst service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Servers are messing up our orders. It took us over an hour to get our food. I’m here on a Thursday night, not crowded whatsoever. I’ll never come here again.
Waitress working ladt night at casa mia in new town.prerty sure she put visine in my drink because she did not like that i asked someone to chck on our drinks after 20 mins. Everuone around us got theirs quickly. Really not very busy eirher. She had a attirude then was later nice. But i think she was nice because she knew what she did. When i got home i was violently throwing up for about an hour. Either visine or bad food. Either way watch out there.
Absolutely love this place!
