Course Coffee is undoubtedly one of my favorite spots in St Charles. Their specialty roasted coffees are next level. They offer everything from lattes to pour overs, and super yummy seasonal drinks. The environment is so cozy, and perfect for catching up with a friend, working remotely, or enjoying a good book. Their baristas are so knowledgeable about their coffees and happy to answer any questions about the menu and even make suggestions for what you might like to try! Cannot recommend enough 10/10

I've driven past Coarse Roasters in Frenchtown more times than I can count, always intending to stop but never making the time... until today. Glad I finally did. The vibe inside is casual but clearly cared-for, with the kind of low-key, local energy you want from a place like this.
I asked the barista for a recommendation, letting them know I'm typically a black coffee drinker who's open to new things... but not interested in anything too sweet. Without hesitation, they pointed me toward the Spicy Honey Latte.
It was one of the most unique and genuinely delicious coffee drinks I've had anywhere. The balance is spot-on: rich with just the right amount of honey, and a kick of heat that never overwhelms. No sugar-bomb here... just a perfectly executed drink that actually highlights the coffee rather than hiding it.
I'll definitely be back.

A friend recommended this place and it's close to the climbing gym I go to so I had to check it out. Got the flight of coffee to try and did not disappoint. I enjoyed both drinks and was able to taste the flavours they were going for.
Service was great, friendly and quick staff.
It's also a good spot to chill and study. Not too loud.
