Best up scale breakfast ever! Made to order omelets. Large selection of breakfast items. Allow plenty of time for a china plate meal. Breakfast is busy!

Room was great, clean. Happy hour and breakfast were delightful. We were woken up at 1:30am and again at 4am by sirens/alarms to evacuate, then a third alarm a short time later letting us know not to evacuate (!!!). We paid $200 to be woken up all night for apparently no good reason. Every guest who tried to sleep there should have been offered a refund.

Hotel was beautiful, rooms are nice and very spacious. We arrived about 3:30pm (check in was at 3pm) and our room hadn’t been cleaned so we waited in the lobby until 4:15 with 3 children. When we got up to our room there was dog fur all over the floors (no big deal, it happens) but went down to the front desk around 5 and asked them to just have someone vacuum it. We came back in at 10 pm and it still hadn’t been cleaned. So I went down to the desk again and they finally sent someone up around 30 minutes later and just offered $50 off my total. Blankets, clothes, bags and anything we have is now covered in animal fur.

I am posting this as I am a current guest at the Embassy Suites St Charles. It is 4am and the hotel has now been awakened for the second time tonight by the emergency alert system going off. It also went off at 1am. Both times, we took the alert seriously and left our rooms, only to find no help, no organization, no guidance or communication from staff about what is going on and what we should do. Staff is not available for help and there is no communication. Everyone is tired and confused. The lack of communication and unawareness of what is happening and what is or is not a false alarm is horrifying.

Rooms: Rooms were fine, similar to most Embassy Suites I have stayed in. The big difference, which I did NOT like, was the pillows were like 15 inches SQUARE! Weird and not comfortable.

Rooms are decent. Only main issue is you can hear people in the rooms next to you. Especially if they are being a little louder than they should be. Lots of noise from the lobby area, but our room had a living room in the front and a door separating it from the bedroom which cut down the noise. But if you plan on having people sleep on the pull out bed, just be aware of that. All in all, not a bad hotel. Breakfast is decent as well.Rooms: Rooms are pretty clean. Pillows are small.

We have stayed at many Embassy Suites. This one is not one of the best. It was ok...we have stayed at better. Our family stayed two nights. The room was fine, however the HVAC system was quite loud. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. The evening reception was not as nice as other Embassy Suites we have stayed at. The free alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic drinks were fine. But, the snack offerings were celery and carrots, goldfish crackers, and Gardetto's. The breakfast was ok. The omelets were definitely the stars. Unfortunately, 30 minutes before breakfast was over, they stopped bringing food to the buffet. It seemed like they were short handed. The pool was very cloudy and the chlorine was a little overwhelming. The hot tub was not open for most of our visit. The fitness room was nice, clean, and well equipped. Overall, I will still choose Embassy Suites. However, I probably would not stay at this one again...especially considering the room rates.

As of 3 hours after check-in time, we were still not able to check in to our room. Ended up having to sit in the lobby to wait for a room to be cleaned. For our inconvenience and wasted time, nothing was offered except a shrug. Service levels at this hotel were lower than usual, and to add insult to injury, they provided us an empty glass at the bar that had lipstick stains on its rim. Will avoid going forward.

It was nice, I would stay here again. Loved the omelette bar, just be prepared to wait. Pillows were uncomfortable and the bathroom didn't have a fan for the shower

This was certainly one of best experiences I have ever had. This hotel is essential and important part of my journey. I felt like I was home and was closer to the love of my life. A miracle happened to me here. Luen Miranda.
