We have come here once a year over last three years. In comparison to my control(Allen Cafe being perfect 10) this is a nine. Larger interior now—nicely done. Staff courteous and helpful. No grits(maybe too far north for that, but I grew up in the area and had grits). Hash-browns ok instead, but a 6 out of 10 for me. The real highlight was the little jar of jam for my toast. Overall, the best toast ever. The vegetarian options are a big plus to cover the whole family. Old see there was quite a bit of care put into the establishment—excellent management/ownership.

Bomb burrito was very good! Guava pastry was tough(even though was said to have come in that morning)with all the wonderful bakeries close by, that pastry should have been light, flaky and melt in your mouth). Pumpkin spiced latte was excellent! Breakfast bowl with eggs over easy came with over cooked over easy eggs(but waitress made it right😊) waitress a little short, but didn’t come for the service. To the proprietor: when asked what was special about the potatoes the response was “just potatoes.” Wow! Wouldn’t you have wanted them presented as”dices and seasoned, dusted with parsley.”would have taken less than 3 seconds to say that🙃. The establishment decor was very nice, bathrooms were very clean.

This place is outstanding and their prices are amazing! Great coffee, great food, and great people. The store is beautiful. I think this new location is what they always wanted to do bit never had the space to before. We always loved the old store, but this one is so perfect. I really love the balance of brick with wood and black acents. Artistically, I think ibwould really complete the look to have some deep lush green plants around.

Fries were delicious. I had the turkey avocado sandwich with lettuce, tomato cheese, and mayo. My husband had a different sandwich with fries. We both had water. We gave a 20% tip, so the total was $41. The sandwiches were big!
