Gnats INSIDE the pastry cabinet literally flying on food. Got over that. Then was eating a cinnamon roll and half way through there was a pretty long hair inside of it! Then tried the coffee .. bitter and not very tasteful! I was so exited to try this place I love coffee and it looked so cute on instagram! I definitely won’t be back, try one of the 100s of great places 5 min away from here instead

Lydia’s in St. Charles is absolutely charming! The shop is cute, trendy, and has such a fun, inviting vibe the moment you walk in. There are so many sweet treats to choose from, but we went with the macarons and a slice of cheesecake—both delicious.
I’m a big sugar cookie latte fan, so of course we had to try theirs. Overall really good, but I’d recommend getting it hot over iced for the best flavor. And the hot chocolate macaron? On point. Not too sweet, just perfect.
Loved the vibe here and definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area!

We love Lydia's! Parking can be a little tight on Sunday afternoons. The kitkat latte is amazing, and I have yet to meet a pastry out of the case that I don't like. The cheesecake slices are huge - you can definitely share with a friend.
Had a birthday cake make and it exceeded all expectations!!!! I shared two example photos and let the bakers use their creativity - the cake turned out so much better than the example photos! Not only was the cake decorated FLAWLESSLY, it tasted amazing as well!

Stopped here on a road-trip because the reviews were good and we needed coffee. Latte was very milky and had almost no espresso in it, was also $5+. Baked goods looked cute and interesting, we got a cookie and brownie, both of which were too sweet. If you’re road-tripping through, this is a pass.

This charming little shop is packed with community fun and delicious confections! The sour cream lemon scone is hands down the best scone ever, and all the cookies are fantastic. I tried so many flavors. I also like the mixed drinks.
They have an awesome lineup of entertainment including high tea (reservations required), live music, demonstration classes, and so much more. I wish something like this was in my community. Love it here!
