I have breakfast on my way to work at least 2-3 days a week & love to stop off for a large iced coffee with sugar free vanilla. Was told today they no longer have the SF Vanilla...no reason for me to ever stop by this McDonalds for breakfast any more when Starbucks is a block away & they offer SF Vanilla iced coffee. See ya 5th Street McDonalds!Dietary restrictions: Need a sugar free option for iced coffee.

Reluctantly giving one star because zero is not an option. I hold undergraduate degrees in Food Science / Culinary Arts, as well as Hotel and Restaurant Management. I received the Salute to Excellence Award from the National Restaurant Association the same year as Eric Hilton, Graham Kerr, and Robert Mondavi. I have done freelance work as a mystery shopper for nearly three decades. I can now say that I have met THE. WORST. FOOD. SERVICE. EMPLOYEE. EVER; I guess that's my Silver Lining???

Listen man I never write reviews but this is the worst fast food joint in the midwest. Takes a year and a half for your food to be ready and thats if the employees even take your order at the drive thru. Posted close time was 11pm, came by at 11:05 tonight and waited in the lane for 10min. Not a “be right with you”, just crickets. Drove by the window and sure enough there were employees inside. On the rare occasion i go to dine in its filthy and the employees are standoffish and not paying attention. Food is almost never prepared correctly. The owner should be embarrassed at the management and employees incompetence. As a fast food regular whos given this store a hundred chances i will never spend another dime at this store again. If McDonalds was smart they would shut this location down immediately

Slowest service ever makes sloths look fast. There drive thru is the most ridiculously slow and unfriendly working team I have ever been too in my 52 years!!
Don’t believe their supposed hours. They claim to open at 5AM but I have been there many times after 6AM to grab a bite before work and the doors would be locked and the drive thru silent. Light would be on and the employees would kinda just look at you like you’re some kind of fool and basically ignore your existence. I’ve sat in the drive thru for up to 10 minutes without any response before and this is with employees looking out the door and clearly seeing a line of cars waiting. Get your business in line and follow your own operating hours.

The only McDonald’s in st Charles that was willing to make a shamrock shake!
Me and two other customers stood in front of the cash register for 5 minutes. Four people looked at us but no one came to take our orders. The manager was checking her phone and smiling. You have time to look at your phone. Then I spoke up real loud and said is someone going to take our orders. A person finally came over with a SOUR look. That’s when I just walked out. At a time when fast food is getting expensive, McDonald’s cannot afford to have employees with terrible attitudes.

I pulled up to the drive through at 11:45, knowing that they close at midnight. I waited 5 minutes for my turn to order. The two cars ahead of me quickly order then I wait and wait. At 11:55, they turn off the menu screen. When I pulled around the kitchen was dark and I think the workers disappeared. Wry poor customer service. If they would have just said they were closing, that would have been fine. Instead they just ignored me. They’ve lost my business!

HORRIBLE ! DO NOT GO HERE . drive thru takes at least 20 minutes to even take your order. Then the food is either cold or over cooked and nasty . This has happened to me multiple times at this location.

I recommend if you have a Mobile order just go during the day. I came to this location at night. Not near close either and was told that they only can do door dash. No mobile orders. No big deal. I don't care but I also called to store because I have to call the store for my refund and no answer. I called bout 5 times and got no answer and then the last time I got hung up on after they answered. I really can care less bout the food I really just want a refund. Doesn't seem to hard to ask
