I visited 5th & Boonslick location (twice) last weekend while we were in town from Alabama. I always order via mobile-app and pickup in-store. The experience on 5/30 was super speedy, like less than 5 minutes, but it was the visit on 5/29 that was so good. On that day, the drive-thru was backed up to the road, but moving quickly. Starbucks Coffee Company is a location that is always popping with an upbeat vibe. The staff is extremely kind, polite, and quick, with a positive attitude, often getting drinks right and answering questions. Service is generally fast, allowing customers to be in and out quickly, though during rushes, attention to order tickets can sometimes lapse. The store is clean with open tables, though the inside lobby can be quite filthy. The smaller footprint means the drive-through and parking lot are a tight squeeze, sharing a small parking lot with other businesses and being too close to another building and the dumpsters. To keep the restrooms fresh, they are solely for paying customers with coded entry. Popular items include the seasonal gingerbread latte, dark roast, pumpkin flavor additions, the Bacon, Gouda and Egg Sandwich, and the Cheese and Fruit Protein Box, alongside chocolate milk. While the coffee is great, prices are creeping up. Previously known for long lines, the issue has largely been alleviated with a new nearby locale.
