I don’t post many reviews; and if I do they are usually nice. I’m actually eating at this location at the time of this review/post. 1:20pm May 2nd : I walk in, it feels cold, no one is here…the young man working here comes out of the back room…doesn’t look at me or say anything, he is just standing at the register…I look at the options for a snack; it appears to be left out stale product from morning. I choose a simple bagel and coffee. $8.90 for this wow, ok…the young man quickly gave me a small brown bag with a very cold bagel…I said I would like to sit in and dine, he threw me a paper plate…I laughed and asked if he can please warm up the bagel…he was obviously frustrated to be here…as he was close to me I can smell his B.O…I’m very turned off by this experience but I’m hungry and I have already paid so I stay; the young man give me the warm bagel on plate with a pack of cream cheese; I asked if there is a utensil I can use to spread cream cheese, he sighs again and points down the hall…I have no idea that there are utensils down the hall, he then goes and sits down in the back and eats. Like what is this place…I feel like this kid was left here by the store owner who knows him and says oh well no one will show up anyways. No Music, No guests…I feel like I’m sitting in a shut down establishment…my bagel is so so below average lol…my coffee I take black so I can get this anywhere..I am just next to target which has Starbucks but I decided to put my money towards a local coffee spot…next time if I choose local I’ll judge the place first before ordering. Owner should really focus on this location.
This was my first time there, and after the mixed reviews, I wanted to give it a try. Ordered two lattes, breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll. Everything came out in to go cups and boxes which was fine. My coffee was lukewarm and very bland. Did not have much taste to it at all. My cinnamon roll was cold. I asked the person working if he could heat it up. He got a big attitude and slammed the microwave door twice. He was not very friendly when he took our order either. This was absolutely not worth the $23 that I spent. The tables were all dirty as well. I understand people have bad days. I work in customer service as well, and try not to let things bother me. I would never act as though my customers are a nuisance and bothering me.
Been about 4 times, when an older man made out coffees they were great! But the last 2 times the younger man was there. Won’t be back definitely. Threw the coffees away without drinking, total waste. Lukewarm barely flavored milk is what you’ll get for 7 bucks each. Both times the young man will leave off whip then say he has to make it and sigh on anger and smash things around as he does. I strongly advise this place be avoided.
What a cute little coffee shop. I was excited to try it and give my money to the local business owner instead of large chain. However I was there when Ms Billings was buying her drinks, she asked a couple times and the bearesta did appear confused, two people sitting at a table asked if he needed Help? His reply was no. They never moved, she had no wallet, no phone, no camera for filming and was very soft spoken and kind to the counter person. So your response is totally untrue. Please just be HONEST and KIND thank you.!
The coffee was good, not bitter. However it was very overpriced for a plain black brewed coffee. $6.28 w/tax for a 20oz. seems like a lot, compared to all of the other coffee shops I normally go to (almost double). I completely understand cost of goods have been inflated lately, but their prices should still be in line with the industry (i.e. other local indie coffee shops).
Came here to kill some time and study, very nice atmosphere! I loved the electric fireplace by the front counter. The staff was very nice. Not the best cup of coffee I've ever had--a little too much cinnamon for my taste, but overall, a nice quaint little coffee shop.
Been here a few times. Forgot what iced latte I got, but it was chocolate raspberry and was SO GOOD! it tasted like real raspberry, not artificial flavor. I love their sense of community. Would highly recommend.
I really wanted to like this mom and pop place but they have some issues. Their hot lattes is OK but at the moment it’s iced latte it’s really watery. When you make any iced coffee drinks you have to reconsider some ratios when making lattes iced so they don’t get watery. I commend them for making their own chai house me but unfortunately it has no flavor you can’t even tell there’s any spices or that it’s tea for that matter . Please consider looking up traditional Desi chai recipes. Also your staff isn’t very familiar with baristas terms. I got my latte this morning and the staff got it wrong for the fifth time I usually don’t say anything but this time I said some thing because I wanted it iced and he literally just put a few ice cubes in it and hand it to me. Again you can’t make ice drinks the same as hot drinks. I had to throw it away because it was horrible. There are no vegan options for food here. The place has a nice atmosphere.
It is a great local Cafe! The owners are great folks who offer a family friendly environment and awesome service. The food is amazing. The coffee is fresh and tasty. The coffee beans are roasted daily. The tea is aromatic and lovely. Perfectly brewed tea every time. It is a great place to eat, drink some coffee, and study or read. The vibe is clean and relaxed. I had a great time here.
Parking: Lots of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access. Ground level building.
I love this place! More people should know about it. It's adorable and they have the most unique lattes! ? I'm in love. I wake up early just to come here.

I drink coffee, not specialty drinks. Sugar Beans, consistently, has the best coffee in the St. Louis area. At other coffee shops I add sugar to my medium cup of coffee to improve taste, but not here. The wife/husband owner presence is much appreciated!
Enter the building .. no smile, no nod , No hello Ordered coffee received it not hot ask we asked favor was not there . Never had a coffee has bad has what we had . Apparently a company that doesn’t care about their customers
Been wanting to try Sugar Beans but once is enough. The man working showed no enthusiasm in waiting on me. I ordered a latte and a slice of pumpkin bread. The latte had no taste to it and the bread must have been in the freezer - it was all the way frozen but very cold. I pitched both and therefore, I pitched almost $10 down the drain.
Super cute coffee shop with a big coffee menu! They have pumpkin spice year round. I went with a small group and everyone liked their drinks. We were celebrating a friend's engagement and they gave us some treats on the house! We will definitely be back.
Ordered iced ‘Hold Your Horses’ and loved the mocha and different blends of chocolate. There are board games, community flyers, and the capacity to host an event. I noticed several exotic pastries I have never eaten before, so I’m excited to pass back by and sample again. Fast service, waited 3 minutes while the beverage was mixed.
