Abelardo's is LEGIT. I love how they are open late and open early. Service is fast. You get your money's worth with huge portions for such an affordable price.The best is their Carnitas. Probably the best Carnitas I've had. Super crispy and tender at the same time with such a savory flavor. I crave it from time to time and I can't wait to go back.For $2.99, a loaded Chile Relleno like this just can't be beat and has the right amount of cheese to pepper ratio. Delicious.

Tried this place because the chicken place I wanted was closed, and honestly IT WAS THE HAPPIEST ACCIDENT. By the end of the meal I was happy what I wanted was closed. We did the drive through and were absolutely blown away, and this place is immediately going on my top craves! Not only was the food done so fast but it was delicious. We ordered Birria tacos to share, a #6 and a nebraska burrito with a side of queso and a pepsi. For one, it was only like $40 which I feel is great for the massive amounts of food you get. My husbands #6 was a loaded tray. Rice, beans, enchilada & a burrito. I tried his beef burrito and the beef was SO GOOD. Alot of ground beef at mexican restaurants is kind of plain, but not here. It was well seasoned with a smoky flavor. The Nebraska burrito was a bit more like al pastor than I was expecting, but still pretty good. (I was expecting like shredded pork, but I was NOT disappointed.) Burrito had lots of flavor, and the flavor had depth. The potatoes were a nice fun touch. Now the BIRRIA ?????? THIS WAS INCREDIBLE. Their consume was salty, rich, and delicious. Fresh cilantro, fresh onions, the beef was tender and savory. My first bite and I audibly gasped, I liked it more than my main course, and the birria alone will make me return. Like for Birria through a drive through I don't think it could possibly be better. It was such a delicious experience. I will be back, and OFTEN. The only thing I was disappointed in was how good everything on the menu looked because I think it will take my time to try it all ?
