Can you say, WOW? I have been one of their biggest fans for yearsssss. The crust is magnifique. I haven't been to the new location yet. Sadly, it's a little farther away now but it will be worth the time and distance when I get there. Their fish has the same wonderful crispy crust, too. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I'll be seeing you soon. This was my first visit and I wasn't aware that they cook your chicken when you order it which would have been nice to know ahead of time but on the plus side, it means it was fresh and hot. Expect a 20-25 minute wait on cooking. I ordered mine to go so my fries didn't stay crispy due to steam from them being in a styrofoam container, but the chicken was delicious. The fries would have been as well had I eaten there. The coleslaw is pretty good as well. I will go back when in the area. I got an 8 pc with 2 sides and rolls for $25. The skin on the chicken was great, nice and crispy, but if you're expecting seasoning other than salt, you may find this a little bland. I actually like the recipe they use, it's very close to my favorite.

Phone ahead and go through the drive through to pickup to get "St Charles County's Best Chicken" to take home to your family and friends. The old Mexican restaurant then BBQ joint switched to a chicken and fish family style restaurant... with limited seating. This is maybe a great place to grab chicken to-go ... especially through the drive through. However- I came for lunch and wanted fish or maybe liver. I really like sides, but sides are an afterthought here. Even livers are not offered only gizzards. Just a little fish and clams are offered. (Weird on Friday during lent... and people generally wanting more healthy options) The dine-in area is small, but decently clean. The food is ordered at the counter but served to your table in styrofoam and paper containers with plastic-ware. I ordered unsweetened tea and got a free refill before I left. While being offered 2 sides with my meal sounds good... pepper or Franks Red Hot needed to be added. A smaller "2 chicken wings and 1 side" was offered is what I remember seeing. Like I originally wrote- call ahead and go through the drive through to pickup "St Charles County's Best Chicken"

Staff was really nice, but omg. The food was terrible. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings. What I got were wings in what seemed like they took creamy Italian dress that was microwaved and poured on top. Needless to say not right. Not coming
So yummy and worth the wait! Everything was really fresh and the chicken was so juicy! I recommend calling ahead to order but we didn’t mind waiting!

AMAZING AS ALWAYSI’ve been coming here for years. Chicken Coop remains in the uppermost echelon of locally available fried chicken. The only place within a 20 minute radius who can even compete is Hobo’s. You have to go all the way out to the city to a place like Grace Meat + Three before you start arriving at this elite level of chicken cookery.This was my first time at the new location. It’s nice to see these two ladies finally having some help. For years I feel like I’ve only ever seen the two of them both taking and making the orders.The quality didn’t change at all. The new location offers the exact same, mouthwatering, fried chicken that we all grew to love and expect. 9.3/10 clucks.I prefer the spicy breading. Doesn’t matter which part of the chicken you get. Strips or bone in. It’s all spectacular.STRONGLY recommend.
Food was worth the wait. Got the wings and tenders, both very tasty. Tenders were juicy and parmesan garlic was very flavorful. Will definitely go back.

This was my first time there. I used the drive up window. ( this drive up window is for pre ordered food. They are not fast food). My experience was great. From the person at the drive up to the flavor of the food. It is hard to find a good catfish nowadays. The catfish was perfect. You won’t need sauce with this catfish, the breading had the perfect flavor. My daughter had the chicken and she was impressed. The portions were larger than I expected. I will definitely be back.
