Taco salad was swimming in sour cream...terrible. Couldn't even eat it. Wife's chimi came out luke warm on a scorching hot plate. Chips and salsa were good and so was the margarita...only reason it's not a 1 star review.

The salsa is thick, is about 4 x's as much as most places bring out, and it is very good. The chips are not the thin kind!!! We also had the Margarita cheese dip, which was ok. I should have ordered the guacamole.
I had the Burritos Deluxe, and Monica had a beef taco. She said the taco was very good and my burritos were pretty good also.
Overall, this will be one of our restaurants we hit when we are out running around.

I have been on quest in search of good Mexican food in the area since moving here two years ago and Chimi’s is my favorite so far! Verde chicken enchiladas are on par with the best I’ve ever tasted and chicken chimichanga and flauta combination plate was great too! Chips & salsa were decent.
Stick with chicken dishes, as (ground) beef is too salty.
