What can one really say about Church Street? Well, it’s not just a bar.

They have:

Smoking, which, let’s be honest, is a good time in and of itself these days.

Golden Tee, if that’s your bag. Personally, the only thing worse than playing golf is watching it and this is a culmination of the two.

Not one, but TWO pinball machines

Three pool tables

Four naked ladies

A whole wall of gaming machines

And just about the best atmosphere at a dive bar that you could hope for. It’s not perfect, but that’s the point. You’re going to Church St. because you want Sue to give you YOUR drink that she knows while she busts your chops with a warm smile. You go to Church St. because you want to be a part of something. That something is a family.

Now, the only thing I had to make up were the naked ladies, but it worked, didnit? ;-)

I'm been coming up to Church St.Bar for a long time. The customer service is outstanding. It's more then a neighborhood bar it's family. I highly recommend checking it out!

The owner it is non-existent.. he doesn't run anything. The prices are twenty five and thirty five percent more than anyone else. Good luck getting a non domestic drink. That won't be under $10... But... cash only.. you can't use your card. You get to pay an additional $3.50 in the ATM. When it comes to food, you can only order from where the bar tells you. You can't order from anywhere else. So the prices are absolutely fixed. If you move there and secure a home in the neighborhood, it's not a really good bar to be a regular at.. If you play their gambling machines and you win anything big, be prepared to wait at least a month to get paid. Cash flow is a serious issue. And that's directly from the owner's mouth. It would actually save you money by driving further away.

The bartender (Christine) is the best reason to give this place 5 stars. She's awesome. Great place to drink and smoke. No complaining from the non-smokers. Unless they're karens.

Horrible bartending service. Older blonde lady is rude, and dismissive. Way too smokey. So much so it burned my eyes. Men's bathroom toilet has swinging saloon style doors that don't close all the way, or have a latch. Trashy atmosphere. Pool tables are older and sometimes require a bump to get balls out which means they're likely as unlevel as can be. Says they offer free pool on Mondays, but if you don't keep buying drinks then you don't get to keep playing pool. It's not really free pool at that point. Find yourself something better.
