The food was alright, I thought the fish tacos were a little light on seasoning as did some of the other dishes that were tried. The service was great though! The quincaenera decorations were fun. The music was loud but addictive and fun!

O...M...G... i was sent to try the torta. The steak torta was amazing. Everything is made in house from the bean dip to the street tacos. We will definitely be back, often. Thank you all so much.

This place is AMAZING! We ended up here on the 2 year anniversary. The vibes are immaculate, everyone was so nice and attentive, and the food was amazing!!
Our waitress, Carmen, was so sweet and helpful! We will be back 1000%. My husband got the Molcajete and I got the Shrimp Chimichanga!

Friendly staff, the food was delicious and was exceptionally clean both in the dining area as well as the bathrooms. Awesome job. We got the Cubana torta and the mole enchiladas and both were good, excellent!

Prices reasonable, variety of dishes, Taco Tuesday, nice light chips with salsa and bean dip, not overly salted, fresh ingredients, excellent friendly service, short waiting times, clean and festive atmosphere! Support local!

Was excited to try this restaurant due to the high ratings. The salsa was mediocre, the queso was good. I had the Birra Tacos and they were beyond disappointing. It was dry, unseasoned roast thrown on a corn tortilla with a little bit of cheese and the auju juice was a plain broth with cilantro thrown in it. The rice was also plain and unseasoned. The atmosphere was nice. Service was quick for service but took 15 minutes waiting for the bill then another 5 for them to come back and get the payment before we could leave. Don't think we will be back.

I have been coming to this restaurant consistently for over a year now and every time is a great experience. The strawberry margaritas are cold and delicious and the food is always top notch. The price you pay for what you get on your plate is worth a stop in with family and friends. Not easy to find good deals at restaurants in the area that seem worth the money. El Guatal is that place you are looking for. My food comes out quick and is never disappointing. All the waitresses and waiters are fantastic. All the staff are friendly any time I come in. I work in the area and I am from out of town so when they are so friendly it makes it feel like a hometown place. Amber I have had the most as a waitress. She has always been so friendly and keeps a good memory of what I want to order. I ask for a menu every time even though she already knows what I am going to order. She keeps my drinks full and makes sure that I have everything I need while I am in that restaurant. I also have Lety a lot. She is the exact same way. As soon as I walk in the door before I even sit down she asks me if I am having the same thing as last time. She’s very attentive to my drinks and food. They both have always done very well when we have a big group in as well. The restaurant is very lucky to have these two standout waitresses working there and keeping people coming back. I highly recommend you find these two ladies at El Guatal and you will have the same good experience as me.
