First time going to this Chinese food restaurant. Someone told me it existed in st. Charles, so I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the pork fried rice and Saint Paul sandwich. So far the best fried rice and st. Paul I've tasted this side of the river. Normally you would have to go to north county to get rice as good as this.

Food was so bland. Hot braised chicken should have been called hot braised breading. Crab rangoons should be called cream cheese rangoons and they were so stale we think they were from the day prior. Crispy sesame beef was gooey and in a mash ball. Only good thing was the white rice.... Would have been fine if it was cheap Chinese food but it wasn't cheap. Go somewhere else.

Ordered Pad Thai, General Tso Chicken and Steamed Dumplings.
Ive had Pad Thai. Everywhere I go that has a good Thai community. Its always good though sometimes a little bit better here or there. This was NOT Pad Thai. It didnt taste awful, its just not Pad Thai. At all.
Then the General Tso Chicken. You get alot of it, or so it seems. Its 2/3 breaded stuffing. Very little chicken. As for the taste? Ok. Not bad. Not good. Also doesn't taste much like General Tsos anywhere else.
Then the Dumplings. Not bad. But, the ginger sauce that goes with Dumplings was missing key ingredients. It too was bland.
Would I recommend it? No. Unless you dont know what Thai and Chinese food taste like.

I've come here for a long time. Literally years. Their food is really friggin good. It's not just family owned, but family operated. They're all so nice. But omg the food. Hands down the best General Tso's chicken in the county. The fried rice is fantastic. Everyone is nice, and honestly, I absolutely love it. 10/10 would recommend lol

I love the food. It's always made with fresh ingredients no matter what you order. The service is spectacular. One of my orders is for sweet and sour chicken with white rice separate containers and no sweet and sour sauce. They always get it just right. They are always friendly and just so nice.

I'd give all the stars except the to go order was piping hot in plastic. I can't even imagine the amount plastics leached into the food. Probably won't order to go again, but would dine in. Likely the best tasting Chinese food in St Charles County.
I just went there and ordered bourbon chicken which tasted like teriyaki chicken and when calling found out it was that sauce. The orange chicken also tasted like teriyaki chicken. I had hot brazed chicken extra spicy and it was hot but the chicken was plain not fried and no breading. I have never seen this in saint louis before. When called to make the order correct they blamed it on me so I will NEVER EVER go to this place ever again should’ve went to green china like I thought in the first place. I would give it a negative if I could.

If you are originally from St. Louis then you know, we typically have the best Chineese food in the country. People from St. Louis who move to other states come back home for the Chineese food. Emperor is by far the best I have ever had in St. Charles County. It's consistent, the flavor is always good and the food is fresh. We love their fried rice, egg foo young, St. Paul Sandwiches, Mei Fun, Lomein, Black Pepper Chicken and chicken wings. Just try them, I promise you don't be disappointed.
Plus they are on Door Dash so it's a "Win Win".
