I went to Gulf Shores tonite with relatives . I was both surprised & delighted with the service & food. My meal was 3 pieces of blackened grouper & it was delicious. On top of that my relatives had either crab cakes or shrimp jambalaya. Hey, that place is a very good restaurant. Their fish w as fantastic. I recommend all people in St Pete go to that restaurant.

We decided to give them a try for the first time for my husband’s birthday got there at 1230 and left at 215 and we were one of like 6 table they were not busy. If fact part of our wait was a switch in our server who was busing cut durning lunch rush in a Friday. We ordered the crab artichoke dip I was a block of Luke warm cheese that you could not dip anything into. Nothing was seasoned and half of our food seemed to be store bought frozen reheated. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend 60 dollar dinner and long John silvers would have been better and cheaper.
This is my favorite restaurant but I was very disappointed when we went for dinner on New Year's Eve. The service was horrible. There were 2 parties set in front of us that came in after us because the hostess didn't write down our name on the wait list. My favorite key lime martini was not as good as it normally is and took a long time to get.The service was very slow. Our gator bites were overcooked and it appeared to be a lot smaller potion than we got it the past. I ordered an entree that included a salad which was forgotten and not brought out until after my entree. I'm not sure what was going on because we have always enjoyed coming here. I'm hoping this was just a fluke and not the new norm!

We stopped in for a quick lunch. The fried green beans, gumbo and red beans and rice were delicious. We liked that the dishes are served with a fairly mild spice level, but multiple options are available at the table to heat up the spice. Our server was really friendly and enthusiastic. It was too early for us to drink, but the bar menu looked fun.

It was one of our worst experiences in a restaurant in a long time. First, the temperature of the dining area where we were seated was very cold. It was so uncomfortably cold so we had to wear our coats for the entire 2.5 hours. We asked 4 times about the temperature to be turned up warmer, and nothing was ever done about it. It took 45 minutes for the restaurant/service staff to tell us there were no oysters after we ordered it. It took over an hour to get our meal. The meal was not good and my meal was cold. Probably because the room was cold, and it came out missing items. The meal was expensive, not worth the wait or the price. We were a large party, and we were charged an automatic 20% gratuity. I would not have left a tip if given a choice. I will not be going back and definitely will not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Enjoyed the food and the vibe. Our server forewarned us that they are shorthanded (like everyone else) but still, the wait was reasonable. Edit: on return visits the service was fine and the food was outstanding. Except for the beignets which are definitely not as good as Cafe Du Monde. Edit: cornbread is awesome, sazerac is strong and tasty.

Service was pretty good. Food was subpar. Quality and portions did not reflect the price. My wife got a 3-piece seafood dish, $38 later she got 2 scallops and a million small clam strips. Also, we got calamari for appetizer. Same deal, $15 for about 15 pieces of pre-frozen calamari.

We found Gulf Shores by word of mouth 9 years ago when we moved to MO. We started going to the Creve Couer location until the St. Peters location opened since it is closer. We typically see the owner Mrs. Parker working at the St. Peters location working hard alongside with her employees. Our server Dee (for short) was so personable and so was Mrs. Parker. Stopping at our table to ensure everything was to our expectations. We always take friends visiting from IL here to eat. We love this place!

Beautiful aquarium amidst the New Orleans atmosphere. Drinks are good.
Some of the food was lukewarm. My grouper was a bit undercooked and light batter was greasy. I usually get crawfish lettuce but it was not on the evening menu on a Friday. Crab cakes are super rich and full of crab meat. I took one home to enjoy another day.

The atmosphere is cute and enjoyable. Food was bland, they do provide seasonings on the table.
The price honestly isn’t worth it. I got the dump dinner, (I know there’s a market price) but for the amount I got, it at first looked like a lot. But after I finished there wasn’t much. My husband got the jambalaya and he was disappointed too,
The only things that were good really was the spinach and artichoke app, and then the cornbread…
