I love pappys and dalies, but both of them carry the best fries and sweet potato fries you can find anywhere. Finding out this one didn't have a fryer was a total bummer.

Green beans were undercooked and the brisket was bland and disappointing. The chicken was nice, but otherwise not worthy of the hype. Even the fountain Coca Cola lacked flavor.To be fair, the Hoodoo sauce was really tasty.

The lady that worked there was so nice and helpful!
Came in for lunch and left incredibly satisfied! Food was phenomenal, sides were obviously handmade and delicious (especially the slaw!). Food was served within minutes of ordering and prices were very very reasonable for such good food. Highly recommend!

I've been in St Louis since moving here from Austin, TX fourteen years ago. Finally made it to Pappy's. What a let down! I ordered the brisket platter with beans and potato salad. The beans were fantastic and the potato salad was okay. Unfortunately the brisket was subpar at best. Sliced thin, little to no bark and tasteless. Very disappointing 😞. Maybe I'm a BBQ snob IDK, but I've had better.
