Parrots Bar & Grill

This is usually a regular for us as we live so close. This last experience was awful. Our waitress/ bartender with the teal hair and backwards hat was incredibly rude and seemed miserable being there. We had to go to the bar to ask to be served, weren’t given a menu (had to find online to order), had to ASK for silverware after we were served food without it. We have encountered her unpleasantness at both Parrots and their new location. Will not be returning or recommending anymore.

5 Star Dive Bar! Great bartenders, food and drinks!

The owner profiled me extremely hard, saying I was off drugs and kicked me and all my friends out when we were about to leave anyway (it was St Patrick’s day weekend, had a long day out, was tired). We were literally just watching the F1 race, which was 1 lap away from ending before we were so rudely interrupted. Not as if there weren’t plenty of other tweakers, people making out and being way too touchy, and people extremely drunk all around, this man chose to profile ME for straight up chilling. My friends obviously stood up for me, after all I was paying my hard earned money for only 2 drinks. The man said my “mannerisms” were indicative that I was off drugs, when I was simply tired and trying to enjoy my night with my friends while I was in the city for a short while. After my friends had stood up for me, the owner shoved one of my friends and threw his drink all over other guests, pushing my friend into our female friend who was considerably smaller, having no regard for any of the guests whatsoever or making a scene in front of everyone (where everyone was clearly perturbed by the man’s apparent ego trip). Whoever this man is, I sincerely hope he finds God, because I wouldn’t wish what happened to me at this bar to my worst enemy. If you are truly Irish (go figure they would profile someone of Irish descent), steer clear from this bar and pray for these people, especially the deranged owner!👎🙏

It took us 5 years of living down the road to finally get dinner here. Been here twice, did the music bingo on Wednesday night and we might just become regulars. The wings are 10/10. Such a good time!

Where everyone knows your name. If youve ever stopped in at Parrot’s then you know it’s good, food good, times and great music. If youve been more than once then you’re sure to have made a new friend of a stranger. Anytime is a good time at Parrot’s.

Lauren is the best bartender in St Charles! This place is great, and they treat you like family here!

Great place to come and chill. Grab a drink and a bite. I had the wings and pizza. The food is better than what you'd expect for bar food. Drinks are reasonably priced. The bartender was making them good. The atmosphere is just like any other bar. Will definitely be going back.
