Terrible service ordered a 12 piece meal they said 8 minute wait time I waited 20 minutes went inside they proceeded to wait to talk to any of the 8 customers inside then told me it would be another 15 mins before my food would be ready so I had to get a refund didn’t kno it was so hard to fry chicken

Food was pretty good as always, Popeye’s was my favorite chicken place back in Kansas City. This location, however, has some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The wait times are long even when they’re not busy, and they are constantly making mistakes on your order. I was told to pull forward after paying, and I had to sit there are wait for close to 30 minutes before getting my food. When they finally brought it out to me, they forgot my drink and my sauces so I had to go inside to grab them. I’ve worked in restaurants before, and I understand how a rush can feel, but there comes a point where it just becomes ridiculous. Again, the food is great and always has been great, but the service is bad and the wait time is atrocious. Only eat here if you have at least an hour to spare while waiting for your fast food order.

I have reviewed this place before and thought I would give it a try again after not going there for a couple of years. I decided to do an online order. When I tied to order certain foods it said they were out. I changed the order to something else. I left my home at 12:12 and got the at 12:19 asked for my order they said they didn't have half of the food cause they didn't have it and said I can cancel. I asked if we could change it they said yes and parked in the spot they said to waited they gave 2 cars after me their food and at 12:46 I went inside and asked for my money back then all of a sudden they getting my food ready and said it like I was being impatient. This time I got the food I ordered it was warm and tasted good waiting for over 30 mins and watching other people get their order before me even though they ordered after me is crazy business. How this Popeye's stays in business is beyond me. There is a church's chicken, KFC, Canes, and even dierberg's has fried chicken you could get better service at.

What is up with this place? Closes at 12 am pulled up around 9 pm & they are out of mac & cheese & their chicken dippers..
On top of that with only 1 worker?! That’s absolutely insane!

The most incompetent, lazy and worst employees ever. Waited 30 minutes outside for my food which never came. Had to go into the store to get the food that was magically al of a sudden available and ready to be packed up. Oh and there were also like 6 other cars waiting for there food too, and all waited 30 minutes or more.

I had to drive way bc of how rude the worker was speaking to me . If I could give this location 0 stars I would. She was disrespectful to regular questions & yelling through the speaker. In front of my kids ! Don’t come here!!!! Who ever was working the drive thru on 8/6/2025!!

The first time we went to order dinner at this location they were “out of chicken” make that make sense! Today my son went to get lunch and ordered 4 outs of chicken dippers and they only gave him one because the cashier was not listening to him and on top of that the chicken was cold! Never going back here again. Awful. Just awful.

Chicken was good cooked perfectly. They were out of coleslaw and Coke. Didn't ask if I wanted any sauce. Seems to always be out of something when I visit Popeyes.

I ordered a chicken sandwich. One pickle, one pickle! The sandwich was cold, it was like it was in the refrigerator and they took it out, and put in a bag...the chicken was so small it was like a bun sandwich, for $4.99. I was so disappointed. I dont eat out much. I reminded myself why I dont.

I hate coming here. Service it terrible. Employees are lazy and will do anything to avoid helping you. If my kids didn't like fried chicken and the KFC wasn't just as bad, I would avoid this place like the plague. Orders are consistently wrong. Food hardly every tastes fresh, which is weird because you need to wait forever for it. Place is always dirty, sticky and just trashy.

Very rude staff. They look completely lost and only worry about when their break starts. Took 24 mins to get 6 wings… and small ass slaw….. won’t be eating at this location again. Might call it quits on Popeyes all together… I think everyone there shouldn’t have a job they could care less about doing a good job. The way they even spoke to each other was concerning. Hearing a manager say they basically don’t want to make any chicken to at least 6 customers is ridiculous. For 17 mins she told every customer it’s going to be a 12 mins wait on chicken..? At what point of that 17 mins does the 12 mins for chicken get done? Can’t believe ppl actually put up with this.

So went here to get food and order was simple and they forgot a couple of items like always and they girl on the intercom was rude. Whoever it was it working drive thru at 11:27am July 20,2024. So I pull up she tells me to pull up and they bring me the rest of the order they mess up as she walks in she says, He a weirdo….I wanted to drive around and let her know about herself but my kids was in the car so I let it be so I have to be a good person around them or she would of just had met her match today!!! It’s weird she can’t read orders correctly…smh

I placed an order online and arrived 10 minutes after they said it would be ready and I still had to wait another 25 minutes for my order to be ready.
When she handed it to me she told me they were out of tortillas so they couldn't make the chicken wrap when I asked what they replaced it with she said nothing and I said well what can you replace it with and she said nothing. I asked her how I got my money back and she said I don't know ask the app that's how you paid for it and turned around and walked away.
