Solid pretzels, maybe a little overdone, but whoever was behind the counter 4/9/25 at 2 pm is the nicest person I've met. Very helpful, grade A customer service

1230 pm on 9/20 was told it would be "a while" by a woman who was very rude with no customers ahead of me and she disappeared. No problem because there was a better pretzel store on the second level of the same mall. Whoever owns "Pretzelmaker" in mid rivers mall must be a wealthy individual because their employees didn't want my money. Auntie Annie's saved the day.
Would not repeat.

Solid mall food. I'm not a pretzel person myself so I usually get a large soda like I used to when I worked at Journeys down there. But I can speak for my friend when they really like the pretzel bites there. Also shoutout to Mallory and Reiss! Very nice and I always saw Mallory working when I stopped by!

Restaurantji Recommends
Stopped by here today because an old friend was working here and wanted to see if they were still around. Surprise, they were not. No wonder, the food quality is poor, the place is depressing, and sad looking. Heard the store owner was an insufferable woman who was very harsh. This is a pretzel shop, no need to work your employees the way you do. I definitely would not recommend this place!

The teenager's working wear gloves, but they touch all over everything while wearing those gloves, then roll pretzel dough with the same gloves. The guy making our pretzels couldn't stop touching his cell ph & pulling his earbuds out & putting them back in while wearing the gloves he then used to roll out our pretzel dough. After watching that happen, I asked for a refund before my order was done. It took some time as he had to call the manager to do so. I don't recommend eating here because of that dirty grossness that has to be against health standards. It made me sick to my stomach just watching that all happen knowing people behind me were going to eat that.
The two high school age guys working the counter were nice enough, however, we watched as one fellow prepared pretzels, while intermittently touching his phone, his ear buds, the cash register WHILE wearing the gloves used to prepare the food.We asked for a refund before the pretzels were done, and they politely obliged.
Waited for 10 minutes for employees at 2pm store was clearly open with no one

Pretzels are good! Employees are awful. So incredibly rude, and they look like it’s complete torture to be there.
