By no means am I an expert but I can say every time I have had their Pizza I have enjoyed it immensely! The crust has had the classic crunch with the soft chewy interior that I love and expect. The cheese is buttery and stretchy. The tomato sauce is sweet but not overly acidic, and seasoned well. The bake on the pizzas I have had has had the right balance of char without being burnt. I really liked the Webster Groves' Racanelli's. However, I believe that the St. Peters location got my order wrong. It was NYE and they were busy. So I'll give them another shot before deciding to stick with only Kirkwood.
I was born and raised in NY but have been out here in Mo for 40 years and I am here to tell you this place TRULY DOES have New York pizza!! It is amazing! I drive 40 miles to come to Racanellis, that's how delicious it is! NEVER had any pizza place I've been to even remotely came close to NY pizza!!!! Love it
